Zero Day
It Has Robert De Niro, It's On Netflix, So I Had To Watch

Introduction
I must admit that I was a little apprehensive about watching this, thinking one more conspiracy/disaster movie/series, but it had Robert De Niro as ex-President George Mullen and Matthew Modine as House Speaker Richard Dreyer.
Unusually, I have watched the whole series (and I don't binge watch) so make of that what you will.
As usual, I will not drop any spoilers, but I did not know that ex-Presidents were still referred to as "Mr. President".
My Impressions Of Zero Day
It is six forty-minute episodes, so around four hours of viewing. It starts with a stunning cyber attack, and George Mullen is brought out of retirement by the President to bring those to justice who perpetrated the crime.
As George starts to pull things together, it seems he is "losing it", maybe suffering from stress or even dementia.
As the series progresses, it becomes full of more twists than a crocheted cardigan, but it does keep you on the edge of your seat.
A lot of the things that happen in the series are happening in the United States of America right now, so this may be a difficult watch for American residents.
The President and George Mullen are not bad people (I don't think they are, but I could be wrong).
Conclusion
I agree with the IMDB score.
Thank you so much for reading.

You had me at de Niro, Mike. Great review.
Oh wow, that does seem intriguing. Loved your review!
Yeah, extra-judicial detention, suspension of habeas corpus & civil liberties, kinda makes me glad not to have Netflix.
Great review. Sounds thrilling.
Fabulous poem. π»ππ»
Interesting, Robert De Niro don't like Trump. I wonder if he the opposing President of Trump version. I might watch this. This might be Robert De Niro way of making Americans aware whats going on behind the scenes of the government
Very interesting and impactful. Kudos to the author
