The Notebook
On the desk is a stack of notebooks. Some are full of notes, and some are full of a little bit of everything from stories to poems to articles of various subjects. There are some that are empty and ready to be filled. What do you suppose should fill them? I know that some would start a possible novel or maybe a collection of short stories. At time I was thinking of a textbook dealing with American history for preschoolers or primary children. Yes, I am that writer with the stack of notebooks on my desk. What do you think?

A Threat to Marriage
Recently, I saw a south Indian movie named "Mukhchitram", that start with the beginning of happy marriage life but gradually throw the light on the forceful or non-consensual sexual interaction by her husband. This process continues even in unwell and bad biological condition of that woman, legally this is called as Marital Rape.

Come Sunday Morning
Come Sunday morning you take a walk alone or with your companion in this case my dog. I am watching the sunrise rising over the horizon and seeing the sky turn from a light purple to almost a red. There is that old Navy saying, "Red skies in the morning, sailors take warning, Red skies in the evening Sailors rejoice. That is not the right word, but I could never remember that one word. Sunday a time to rest and rejoice for it's a day to say thanks to the Lord for another day or two or three or more.

Managing
We all seem to arbitrarily save enough to live as in getting food to eat and to cloth ourselves, well if we are able to do this for there are some that are out there that need our help through no fault of their own who need extra help. I know there are thrift stores and helping hands, but some people are just too proud to admit that they need help, and I also know that out of that group of individuals there are some that are just lazy and do not want to do anything worthwhile but complain about.

The Community
The World community always seemed to think that the natural resources were always inexhaustible, but we are slowly learning that they are not. The powers that be are always trying to find new ways to increase these resources, but it seems like they are always doing it too late or in the wrong ways like 'fracking'. I always liked wind and solar power, but it seems even those have drawbacks. The lesson I learned is that all the resources are related to each other in some way, and we have to figure a way to harness their togetherness some way.

Guessing?
We can only guess at what the next new word in the dictionary might be. I am still amazed at some of the words that seem to join the lexicon world of this major tome. There are many words in this book of books that seems to add to our knowledge in many areas of living our lives. Words like 'bot' could be one of them. I think 'bot' is in this book of learning to spell and increasing vocabulary. If at times we do not know how to spell words remember what your teacher always said, "Look it up."

Teachers and Education
Another vocabulary project that I am working on is one dealing with the Foundations of education from the history to the present and all the needed information that a student of education may need. There are so many theorists from the Greeks to the present day. One must learn the past to improve the present to hopefully make the future better for all people. To educate is to make understanding not just the facts but the idea or ideas behind them. Teaching is a profession that is hard to comprehend at times for all the issues. Teaching is a calling.

The Human Brain
I am starting to research for a vocabulary textbook reviewing all the necessary vocabulary dealing with the subject of biological psychology. In other words why does the brain make us do what we do. The mind or should I say the mind is a terrible thing to waste is a phrase I heard on an old television commercial. It was either a Just Say No PSA or about some college fund. Anyway in researching I thought of this little drabble to explain my future writings. Get ready for neurons, glial cells and all you may want to know about synapses.

The Lively Art of Writing
'The Lively Art of Writing' A book on composition by Lucile Vaughan Payne. This is an academic book that I have seen read by students when I was in high school who had taken either a course known back then as Advanced Communcations or Honors English. This book was published back in 1975 when I was in upper elementary school and even though it is an older text there are a lot of exercises that can still help writers today.
