Another vocabulary project that I am working on is one dealing with the Foundations of education from the history to the present and all the needed information that a student of education may need. There are so many theorists from the Greeks to the present day. One must learn the past to improve the present to hopefully make the future better for all people. To educate is to make understanding not just the facts but the idea or ideas behind them. Teaching is a profession that is hard to comprehend at times for all the issues. Teaching is a calling.

I am a person who really likes to read and write and to share what I learned with all my education. My page will mainly be book reviews and critiques of old and new books that I have read and will read. There will also be other bits, too.

Teaching is a calling and teachers often do not fully realize the impact they have on their students. One of my favorite quotes about teaching is from Kahlil Gibran, "The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you enter the house of his wisdom, but rather leads you to the threshold of your own mind."
