Prey (2022)
Not just one of the best Predator films, arguably one of the best Sci-Fi Horrors of the last 10 years.

Amber Midthunder steals the show as the fierce young Comanche warrior, Naru, who defends her tribe from the ferocious Predator. Has beautiful cinematography, tense, edge-of-seat action, unexpected jump scares and actual character development. Naru does not get an easy time, but never gives up. Relentlessly boundary-pushing in the best ways.

I don’t think I’ve even heard of this one prior. Thanks for sharing your view. Seen the original a few times but generally not the sequels or remakes.
great critique of a great movie
Ooohh, this sounds amazing. Added it to my watch-list. Fantastic review, too! I've only seen Predator and also Predators, I think...(the one with Adrian Brody). Don't remember the latter, but the first one was quite good, I thought! Never heard of Prey, but I'm excited to watch it.
I watched two of them. Did not see this one. Will def have to watch this one though, Naru sounds fierce.
Oooo, this sounds really good too. Adding it to my ever expanding list, lol! 🍩🥐
Prey was excellent, the main selling point for me being some Native rep. I was worried about how the writers/director would depict it, but was pleasantly surprised. I have never seen the other Predator movies, and my partner told me the gist of what those were about. I quite liked the premise of the alien wanting to go after only the most violent life forms that they could find.
Brilliant review 😁
Haven't seen it, once again, but still a compelling review.
Great review - Paul, but not the genre is not my cup of tea - like Jazzy - I tend to avoid scary themes.
I can't do scary things, but this sounds Interesting!!!
I completely agree with your excellent review, Paul! This is the best Predator film after the first one. The actors are fantastic, and I love how such a "petite" woman manages to outwit a beast with only her brains and courage. This movie is a love letter to women worldwide. The empowerment is strong! Apparently, there is a version in the Comanche language available, but I have yet to find it.
Hmm.... I burnt out on the sequels, but this prequel looks like something I'll enjoy watching. Thanks for the heads-up!
I saw this movie and loved it! I agree! Great review!
I like thrillers and horror-might watch this. Thanks for review
