Dork Diaries
Rachel Renee Russell along with Nikki and Erin Russell have conspired to write and illustrate ' Dork Diaries Tales from a No-so Dorky Drama Queen'. This is a female version in my opinion of the 'Wimpy Kid' books by Jeff Kinney. The 'Dork Diaries' in a way show how some girls see and survive middle school drama of all kinds even though they seem quite mean and dramatic as in the theme to this sequel to Dork Diaries. It is also a story that will show how rumors start and even hurt all involved somehow. On the technical format of this book for it is written as if a middle school girl wrote it and drew it. In my opinion the illustrations could be used as coloring pages too.

Dog Days
Jeff Kinney has written 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days. 'Dog Days' is the one where Greg is on summer vacation. Greg has to deal with Rowley, Rodrick, and his other mom and dad in how he spends this vacation and how each of the sees what 'FUN' is all about. Jeff writes this book in a journal format as if Greg has written his inner most feelings. The illustrations are even drawn as if Greg drew them. There will be times that readers whether adult or youth will remember living and even surviving what Greg is dealing with during his summer vacation.

Bomb
'Bomb' by Steve Shein wrote this book quite a few years ago. It is a youth historical book that has a full title of 'Bomb' The Race to Build and Steal the World's Most Dangerous Weapon'. This is the story of the beginnings of the development of the Atomic bomb during World War II. Steve introduces readers the scientists and spies that created and tried to steal these plans of weapons of mass destruction. There were scientists, politicians, various spies from persons named Albert Einstein and Robert Oppenheimer to Harry Gold. Steve wrote this book so that young readers will begin to understand the basic history as to why this weapon was even invented and how science was a part of this. There will be times that readers whether adult or youth will have some memories of current times.

"I Need That" at American Airlines Theatre involves the life of Sam (Danny DeVito), his best friend, Foster (Ray Anthony Thomas) and his daughter, Amelia (Lucy DeVito). Sam is a hoarder and a hermit; he hasn't cut his lawn for eight months and the inside of his house looks as bad as the outside. Theresa Rebeck who wrote this play brings into question about how a man chooses to live his life. Sam has no TV, no phone and he seems happy living his life; nothing seems to outwardly bother him. “Barbie”: The Politics of a Plastic World
The task of bringing Barbie to the big screen was hardly a simple one. The film went through various iterations and spent over a decade in development before it could make its way to cinemas. And while it isn't a film I was particularly looking forward to seeing myself, it's one I'm still glad that I got to see all the same.

Sabbath's Theatre.
"Sabbath's Theater" at the Romulus Linney Theater is a stream of consciousness play, John Turturro gives a masterclass for one hour and forty minutes. Without an intermission it is he who locks in the audience. The play which is written by Philip Roth is as raw, edgy as anything Kafka would write. The people who came to watch were artistic, even Bohemian. "Sabbath's Theater is a throw back to the days of La MAMA, Truck and Warehouse Theater. Directed by Jo Bonney, nothing is left to the imagination... it is sex and sex and sex.
