Democrats call for withholding DHS and ICE funding after second Minnesota fatal shooting

The political pushback could lead to another government shutdown if Republicans decline to strike a deal with Democrats on federal funding.

Another government shutdown looms on the horizon if the Republicans and Democrats can’t agree upon an appropriation bill. That’s a good thing. Shut down ICE first––and for good. Also, the FDA, DEA, OSHA, NOAA, FCC, FAA, and a whole host of alphabet soup organizations and agencies ought to cease as well.

The brainless Republicans and the spineless Democrats can’t agree on what to have in the Congressional lunch line. How can Americans trust them to set the country on the righteous course? The ideals that the Congresspeople and Senators show should be on making capitalism the social system of the land.

In taking in the thoughts behind their rhetoric, they don’t match. They’ll still be paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for their positions which they can occupy for decades.

For both parties to not be able to come to an agreement that the free market is the only way for this nation to begin the process of assuming the level of greatness. It had already been great before Mr. Trump talked about it and made it a brand. America’s greatness is not its people but in ideas. The fact that ICE has grown beyond the other agencies which “protect” against domestic criminals, multiple times over. And they are not the FBI or the police. They are a government militia. Their ugliness plagues the body politic.

In the demonstrations to correct the occupation of the ICE agents, the parties have no clue as to ascertain what social system should be implemented. Capitalism is the only system consonant with humanity. Every other political system is evil. All of them. Both the left and the right don’t know the difference between the viciousness of communism, fascism, socialism, and nationalism, to name a few.

THis points to the ineptitude of the politicians and where they stand. They are agents of destruction and distortion of the truth. Every bit of their lives, they tie around “selfish” means. It’s not an actual concern for one's self interest, but a frail and pallid excuse for saying ‘gimme, gimme, gimme!”

In a shutdown, they’ll still hold onto their money and pretend they care about the people who build, produce, and make. They can pass laws or not, they’re not equipped with understanding the consequences of their actions (or inactions). They have weaponized the idea of the government’s control over the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

But it’s like the late great George Carlin once said about politicians…we get the ones we deserve. They’ve come from the same schools, colleges, universities, churches, sports teams, and other organizations. There should be no surprise that we don’t get free marketers and rational thinkers in Washington.

But there is a name who can reverse all of this. Her name is Ayn Rand. The writer and philosopher made a name for herself with the power of her own glorious mind. She rejected the insinuation that she should be some politician. If she could see the tenor of the politics of this current state of affairs, she would maybe become at least a senator. (She couldn’t be president as she emigrated from Russia.)

So, Miss Rand would totally eviscerate the left and the right and shoot down the ideas of both sides. Her efforts would be powerful and efficient. Now, of course all of this is hypothetical and we don’t deal with hypotheticals usually. If there’s a better way to deal with the problems of the United States. What is happening is the complete incompetence of the members of the Republican and Democratic parties. What’s scary is when they actually agree on something. Sometimes it’s good other times it’s bad, but when they settle on something look out because it could permanently affect your life.
