Current Writing
Just A Placeholder

Introduction
I often write about where I am with my writing and why I am at this place, so this is just another one of those. I write these to hopefully give people ideas and let them know that whatever they are doing is the right thing for them.
I suppose this could be a critique of my current situation.
I have included The Who's "Guitar and Pen" (which I often do for these pieces, and yesterday I bought a vinyl copy of Pete Townshend's "Who Came Next" inspired by the guru, Meher Baba, and the first song inspired this poem:
What Am I Up To?
One of the reasons I am writing this is that my last poem, which was for a Vocal challenge, may have given the impression that I am in a bad place. That is not the situation; it was more observational. which is why I included this line:
You Never Notice A Good Referee
The poem was minimalist, no formatting, no emojis, no video, and a minimalist image to illustrate disappearing words.
I still feel that I am lazy if I write poetry, but even a haiku can take a lot of work, and a sestina definitely does take a lot of work, but after writing a poem, I feel I should write fiction or some kind of article.
I have just published four poems in a row, and that is something I seldom do, and some of those poems did take a lot of work.
My main project at the moment is the book with Angie Livingstone (The Glittering Fox), and if you don't know what that is, here is a recent poem which will appear in it (this is one of those last four).
I feel I need to write some more fiction, and I know something will inspire me, although recently it has mainly been My Muse, Art, album covers and music, and they are not bad inspirations to have.
Conclusion
Thank you so much for giving me your time, and I hope you found something useful in here.
This is the second piece I have published today, and when I got up, I was not expecting to write at all.

You are such a professional in many aspects for this career of writing. I wonder if and if only you have time would you mind critiquing my "Night at the Library' series. Be honest.
Nice to know what inspired, Pure and Easy. The first song on a vinyl copy of Pete Townshend as youβve detailed. I haven't read it yet, but I will read it soon. Your last poem for the vocal challenge, may have given us the incorrect impression π€ I am not sure I read it yet, but that's a pretty good line. 'you never notice a good referee' I agree, a sestina does take a lot of work. I too feel like I have to write a poem then a fiction. Well done for posting four poems in a row. That's a huge accomplishment. The goddess and the wolf, sounds great too. Going to have to give it a read. Inspiration is everywhere. I hope you find them soon to write your fictional stories. There was someone who commented on another piece, I've read of yours. I read his comment there. I think he mentioned 'reedsy prompt' maybe that could help? Well done for giving into the motivation to write, for this to be your second piece of the day. π€β€οΈ
