Bryan Johnson

Hello hello,

I'm an avid documentary watcher and that lead me to watch a new Netflix documentary with the name "Don't die: the men that wants to live forever". I know, the title makes curious off the bat, but let me present the premise of the documentary.

Bryan is a billionaires that spends around 2 million dollars in his project "Blueprint" that aims to slow down aging. He follows a specific diet, exercise, takes about 300 pills (vitamins, suplements, etc) I also saw him in a weird machine, and, he said something about the UV rays?

Now, don't freak out, he has a partner that is a scientist that is helping him develop this "study". And that's the subject that I want to talk about. In a way to make spending 2 million dollars a year Bryan and his partner say that everthing that Bryan does is an investigation project. It isn't.

First, to make a study you need to have a control group, they are gonna do the same test that Bryan does. It's the only way you can say "see, the control group doesn't have the same results as Bryan so what he's doing it's working". Second, he tries everthing, he even injected his son plasma in him, and went to an island do genetic treatment. That means that he can't say that it was that suplement, the diet, or whatever. In an investigation project you need to pick one stick with it to say "yep, this works".

In the end, the only thing that I dont like is the way he advertises is project like its an official study, making people that dont have millionares money want to waste money with extra extra virgin oil. I couldn't care less what he uses is money for, just don't scam people. I like that he organizes hike's tho.

Have you seen the documentary? What are your feelings about this project?

See ya
