Antron Singleton, aka Big Lurch
This is an interesting true crime case. I didn't know where I'd end up on it when I began researching, but I uncovered some strange things. Perhaps you've heard of Big Lurch, the rapper cannibal who murdered and ate his girlfriend. If you've previously seen a headline similar to what I just wrote, then let's set the record straight right now. Yes, Big Lurch is a rapper. No, the victim wasn't his girlfriend. Murder and cannibalism? It's not as clear as it first appears.

Andrea Yates
This story is tragic, both for the five children who lost their lives and for the mother who suffered for many years with a severe mental illness. Before going any further, I would like to warn that this story contains talk of suicidal ideation, attempt, and the murder of children.

The unsolved homicide of Alana "Laney"Gwinner
Although police officers often receive a bad rap, I wouldn't want to live in a society without them. As a military veteran, I have much admiration and respect for the military and law enforcement. Both professions play an imperative role in our society. Despite not knowing the people they are protecting, they put their lives on the line to protect them. I have seen countless stories of police officers losing their lives in the line of duty, but one stands out in my mind.
