Alexander Lewis-Ranwell ,28, is a paranoid schizophrenic who was found not guilty for reason of insanity when he stood trial for the triple murder of three elderly men. In the day’s leading up to the murders, he was held in custody and arrested multiple times. Sadly, this was an event that could have been prevented.

In The White Room
The color white...the color symbol for purity and goodness. In the color spectrum white is all the colors as one. White light refracted from a cut piece of glass, or a diamond the way it sparkles. Crystals can bend that pure white light and you'll see all kinds of colors reflecting off that surface. How ironic it is that the color white, the very representation of peace and goodness, can be the most cruel of all colors. I can try my best to tell you why I believe this to be so. It is not a story for the faint of heart of that I must warn you before you continue.

Once We Were Children
We come and we go and we are who we are, nothing can change this. Fate. That’s what we believed when we were kids if you could call what we were, kids. We quickly learned, there are no children here. Many of us, too many, believed there was only one path that lay in front of us. Sometimes I think none of us were ever really children, the curiosity and amazement of childhood evaded us in the absence of able-bodied parents or positive role models, the lack thereof which caused the streets to step in to raise us. We really thought we knew it all.

People think that nothing can possibly happen in the middle of a prison without lots of witnesses seeing everything that happened. What people don't understand is that there are two reasons why that just isn't so - The first being that inmates in general make lousy witnesses. Take something like a fight in the chow hall. Line up everyone that was eating at the time and ask them what happened. Every single one of them will give you a slightly different story. None of them will have seen the whole thing start to finish. Very few of them will have seen only the aftermath. Very few of them will have seen only one of the people involved. Not one of them will tell you, with perfect assurance, that they saw both people fighting from start to finish, despite the fact that most did.

Happy 18TH BDAY
Time flies by so quickly it’s crazy!! It seems like just last week I was not even old enough to buy alcohol from the stores and now, at 32, if I am not carded at the store it no doubt offends me!! when I was 18 I was involved with the crowd of people that wpould change my life forever. It wasn’t even a month after my 18th birthday and I was hanging out with my bestfriend Lil Steve. We called him “lil Steve” because of his height and weight and basically he was just litttle for his age and had always been smaller than the rest of his class.

Hello Hutchinson
When this all first started with a random phone call in October of 2020, everything seemed like a distant impossibility. You see, for the majority of my life, I had failed at everything I had tried. More accurately, I rarely tried to do anything of accomplishment. For most of my adult life, I battled alcoholism, addiction, and all of the damage that is the result of doing so. I started early on in my teens, and it just kept getting worse because I loved the feeling of not feeling, and the chemicals that made me who I thought I wanted to be. Five years, seven months, and eight days ago I was released from a minimum-security prison treatment program with the shirt on my back and a few measly dollars to start life over, again. Today, my wife and I are signing the papers that make us owners of a restaurant.
