Incarceration, rehabilitation, recidivism: The reality of prison life and what it's like to be an inmate locked up behind bars.
Con Artists Constitutional Covid: My Fight For Inmate # 337147
So, the top left picture is how the judicial system views this gentleman. The other two photos are how I view him, clearly very different. If you read the caption on the picture above it is sad, but a true depiction of just how different those opinions on this young man are. Anyone in that jail or in that Courthouse gets a case file and that's all they know about him. One thing I do know for sure if I know nothing else, he is so much more than any crime he has committed. Unfortunately, the legal system has the ability to dehumanize the inmates, and that is surely what my fiancé, (pictured above), has experienced during the last three months. Given that I don't know who to address the very serious issues that are at hand here with, I thought, why not write a story on Vocal, or maybe even a few different platforms and just let people know exactly what's going on. And maybe, just maybe someone will be able to validate the actions of these officers and the judicial system. Or show me an angle to the situation I hadn't been able to see myself.

12 men are currently scheduled to be executed in 2022. They are sitting on death row in five states: Ohio (4), Texas (3), Oklahoma (2), Tennessee (2), and Alabama (1). No Carbon Monoxide Detector
Well where should I start? As I have been very vocal about the living situations I have been forced into, this is beyond me. It is even crazier for one to believe I owe them money for gassing my room, stealing my meds, as well as things, and to be real, the list of problems here, just goes on and on.

Dry January
Summer of 2021 Beware the Ides of March As I approached my classroom, I saw the assistant principal waiting outside my room. I had no idea about the events that were about to unfold. In fact, everything happened so fast, that it is a little more than a fuzzy memory, and I was in a mixed manic state – memories tend to be hazy during mania.

Family in Prison
Let me tell you a little story about a girl I know called Sally. Her first experience with the criminal justice system was when she was in fourth grade. She didn't know anything about the law at that age. She didn't know anything about the criminal justice system at that time except watching tv, talking to her friends on the phone, or playing games. She played a lot of solitaire, the card game you play by yourself. She learned that game when she was young along with some other card games that are fun. She loved playing card games if she had someone to play along with her. She was always on the phone talking to her friends too. She loved talking to her friends.

"Comfort Women"
The definition of “Comfort” is: “a state of physical ease and freedom from pain or constraint”.(Oxford Languages). However, for these women there was no comfort, either physically, emotionally or mentally. Many things happened during the Second World War which we may never know about (which may be just as well). “Comfort Women” were ‘almost’ one of those things.

This Isn't Justice, It's Stupidity
The wash basket is full It’s a chore, but it needs doing. You load the washing machine and now you have a choice, you can choose the Big Bad Powder or the Softy Soft Soap. The first goes on a ‘super-duper long wash’ cycle and the latter on a ‘quick wash.’
