Woman Murders Newborn Baby Hours After Giving Birth. Content Warning.
Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier named her newborn daughter Angelica. Several hours after delivering the baby in her home, she drove down a New Jersey roadway, stopped the vehicle, and placed the baby in the middle of the road. She then doused the newborn in accelerant and set her on fire. Angelica sustained third-degree burns to over 60% of her body and passed away at a Philadelphia hospital two hours later.

Driving slightly above the speed limit between the buildings of downtown Vancouver, corporal Pickering of the RCMP was on his daily patrols, looking for any trouble needing attending to. He was glad he was assigned to the downtown area, as the vibrant life of the urban city hummed and buzzed with activity, with never a dull moment. For the most part, things were just as usual, with most crimes happening later in the night under the cover of darkness. It had always puzzled him how such affluence and poverty could be located so close in proximity to one another, with expensive high rises on one side next to derelict masonry buildings on the other. Perhaps the permission to let poverty exist there reminded the rich of how much better off they were than the needy.

Death at a Bend of a River
The smoke coiled out of the colt revolvers barrel and seeped out of the cracks along the edge of the cylinder and one round had been emptied from its chamber. Darryl looked down at her dead body, crumpled on the dirt, her red dress with printed sunflowers, stained with crimson that tinted the petals of the flower print. The cotton fibers drew the blood into its fibers, darkening the red fabric more, bleeding into the yellow pedals. Her fingers had dug into the dirt as she fell to the ground and her fingernails were caked in dirt with her palms up laying next to her. When she had heaved out her last breath after huffing for air her chest collapsed for the last time. Her eyes, blue eyes, went black. Dilated pupils stared straight up into the trees, watching the birds land on branches after they had been scared off by the gunshot.
