Romeo Esta Sangrando
A criminal atmosphere like smooth jazz pours from the veins of the hustling city. Police sirens blare in the distance - somewhere they have authority. On the lost cause of 18th street, a turf claimed by steel and led, the air is painted with laughter from the young Cuban men who stand in the brake lights of their cavalcade. Rico pops the cap of another beer as he continues his story.

The Story About A Sinner
PART 1 Hi. My name is Dexter and I kill people. I was not born a murderer, but I wanted to become one, and so I did. Truth be told, I only wanted to kill one person, John, because he was a monster. I have met him years ago, even before Samantha, who was and still is the love of my life. I was dating her for quite a while back then, I even bought the engagement ring, which she never wore. She dumped me, for that self-destructing, stupid jerk, monster. I took it quite hard, and ended up in a mental hospital for a suicide attempt. I was there for a couple of years, not sure for how many though, because of all the “treatments”. Doctors up there were no good at all, after all those years they still could not stop me from cutting my arteries, whenever and wherever I could. I liked to do it all over the nurses' faces, it made me happy to see them bloody.

The Becoming
1 The Becoming There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. That is until in the evening of The Transformation in the Valley of Nod. The Valley of Nod was a beautiful and peaceful place, but its harmony was shaken to its core by the malevolence of Ambrose. Ambrose came from a family of questionable individuals. They never wanted to be a part of the traditions or help the village in any way. They ostracized themselves and the community didn’t bother them since they decided to not be part of them. One day, both of Ambrose’s parents passed away under mysterious circumstances and even though he didn’t want to, he came to the village to ask for help in burying them because he was overwhelmed and had no idea what to do, and of course the village helped him. The Nodians also helped him in cleaning the home and packing the things his parents left behind that he would have no use for. In his parents’ bedroom, Ambrose found tucked away in their closet scrolls about a strange dragon religion they practiced without his knowledge and that changed his whole perspective about the community in the Valley of Nod. He became obsessed with those scrolls; he would study them day and night. Every Friday morning, he would wake up and go to the middle of the Valley proselytizing about how the Nodians were condemned to die because of their sinful and wicked ways. Few followed him because he was a passionate orator; he spoke with fervor and gravitas, holding people’s attention. Zillah, the priestess of the village, could understand why others decided to give him the time of day. Those who began to follow him really believed the tenets he was spewing about the ancient dragon religion, especially the one where they had to sacrifice those who believed in the ancient gods and ways to gain the favor and riches of Uriel, the eminent dragon.

Cabin In The Woods
It's six am and i have to get ready for school. Head hurts from the crying last night. Wake up with a whole bunch of messages from everyone saying the same line." It's going to be ok" or " are you ok ? " This is the worst feeling in the world to see the person that you love be with another person. I knew that we weren't in a good space but to step out and be so bold enough to cheat on me is another thing. Now I have two options: Be disrespectful and not care about his feelings or forget and move on. Me knowing that i'm nonchalant i'm just going to forget and move on. Right now i'm at a point where I want to crawl in my bed and die but i won't do that. Got in the shower feeling some kind of relief from the pain and agony from last night. Got dressed and put on sweats and a hoodie with my hair tied up. Don't have the energy to get pretty. Walked in the kitchen and see my mother but she doesn't say anything. She doesn't want to say the same things because she knows I heard it all before. Before leaving out the door she calls out to me but hesitates and says never mind. Finally get to the school and all eyes on me. I can feel the eyes of my fellow classmates staring at me from and far and whispers began to start. As I head to my locker I see him laughing and pointing at me. Tears began to run down my face as I went to class. During the day everything was mellow and smooth while my mind is racing. Everything was good until the last hour of my day.

The Seven
CHAPTER ONE: Brock felt the paranoia overwhelm him – wait, nope – that was nausea. He clawed his way over to the sink and retched, his vomit a sickly dark brown. He wiped his mouth with the sleeve of his jacket, and shakily stood. The room was like a hallucination – shining and spinning. He retched again.

When Mavis Married Aaron
When Mavis married Aaron, she thought she was marrying up. It made sense in a distorted way. Aaron was a former athletic star and drop-dead gorgeous, with dark wavy hair, long well-muscled limbs, and sun-kissed skin. All the other girls wanted him, and Mavis nabbed him, plain, bookish schoolteacher that she was. Everyone said, “It will never last”, but Mavis just ignored them.

Unimpeachable
Unimpeachable The prosecution spent hours building its case based on the information their one and only eyewitness had provided. She had been there since the scam’s inception, watching as her employer and his associates concocted a system designed to bilk billions of dollars from gullible investors. The witness was in the room when the men launched their scheme and waited for the money to come rolling in. She was even instructed to deliver sealed packages to various locations on her way home from work. The witness was a willing participant in delivering the packages but had no idea what was in them.
