Life writes the scariest and weirdest tales. You should determine carefully if you desire to read the following tales. Because its contents are considerably more gruesome and scary than any novelist could envision.

1. The Dead Women of Birmingham

By Asher Legg on Unsplash

The first authentic horror tale took place in Birmingham, England. Here, in the afternoon of May 27, 1817, a 20-year-old lady and her companion were returning home after a ball. After the two pals split, the 20-year-old young lady never arrived at her destination.

The next morning her sexually tortured corpse was located in Erdington Park. Although a guy called Abraham Thornton was suspected of this heinous murder, there was never a conviction. The murder was never solved. The victim’s name was Mary Ashford.

So far, this narrative appears like a routine sex offense culminating in death. But what makes this case so unusual is the fact that 157 years later, similarly, on the afternoon of May 27, 1974, Barbara Forrest, also aged 20, was killed in the same Birmingham park.

The major suspect in the murder was one Michael Thornton, who was also acquitted. But that’s not all of the horrible parallels between these two heinous acts. The two victims died in the afternoon of Pentecost Monday, in both cases on May 27.

Both victims were located in Erdington Park. They were both unmarried and in their 20s. Both were abandoned to their destiny following sexual assault. They were both headed home after a dance.

In both incidents, the two major suspects had the surname name Thornton. Both were acquitted. The parallels are extremely remarkable and make both killings incredibly unique.

2. The non-human intruder

Below are two medical horror tales. Doctors at a hospital in Medellín, Colombia, were obviously astonished when they treated a patient in extremely bad health. The 41-year-old guy was HIV positive but did not take any drugs.

He had major respiratory troubles and was infested with tapeworm.

The tumors in his lungs revealed that his breathing troubles were caused by a previously undiscovered malignancy, but there was something incredibly unusual about these tumors.

One of the physicians noted that, although the tumors looked to be malignant, they were made of non-human cells. After DNA testing, physicians determined that the tumors that had previously attacked the lungs, liver, and adrenal glands were made up of tapeworm cells.

The man’s already weakened immune system had allowed a form of non-human invertebrate cancer to invade his body.

Doctors didn’t know how to treat this extremely unusual type of cancer, but they never had a chance to try it. Because within 72 hours of the strange diagnosis, the patient was dead.

3. Terrible faces

Doctors at the University of Kentucky were very confused by a 67-year-old patient who was suffering from very concerning symptoms. Even though the woman had no history of dementia or other mental disorders, she constantly saw objects floating around her.

More precisely, they were faces; terrible faces, disembodied, elongated, with enormous eyes and teeth.

The lady was naturally scared about losing her wits, then was almost relieved when she was diagnosed with Charles Bonnet syndrome.

This relatively uncommon condition arises in people with vision impairment. Because the brain is used to getting regular visual information, the brains of persons with this specific illness construct the missing information to replace that which is no longer coming in owing to reduced eyesight.

The resultant hallucinations are typically absolutely innocuous, such as bursts of color or little creatures. In the severe example of the lady in issue, they were represented via horrific and demonic looks.

However, following the diagnosis, her severe hallucinations disappeared. An incredible and terrible thought to have to continually view awful faces. There is no demand for scary films anymore.

4. The terrifying thief

This true horror tale will make you feel absolutely different! When an Illinois lady couldn’t locate her handbag at her residence, her boyfriend decided to check the CCTV video to figure out where she may have left it.

In the footage, the pair is seen sleeping on the sofa in the foreground. But suddenly a robber emerged at the bottom, at the top of the steps. He was clutching the woman’s purse.

As if this wasn’t disturbing enough, he stayed motionless for a good 15 minutes and observed the sleeping pair.

With the balcony entrance of the home open, the malevolent invader was able to enter the residence.

Although nothing was taken aside from the pocketbook, one can only imagine the enormous fear that ensued from witnessing the awful CCTV tape. What is particularly alarming is that the perpetrator has not yet been apprehended.

5. The swarm

As two teenage hikers were about to visit a wildlife area in Arizona, a black cloud suddenly formed on the horizon. These were thousands of angry bees that rapidly rushed on one of the two males.

His startled companion watched helplessly as the 23-year-old found himself entirely coated with bees in only a few minutes.

Another hiker and two park officials couldn’t even get near the sufferer. First responders who arrived at the site said that the guy was still covered with bugs when he was carried into the ambulance.

But this is not enough. The whole swarm even followed the paramedics on the way to the hospital.

Once there, the swarm dispersed, and the bees finally freed their victim. But it was only because they performed their job. The man died shortly after.

6. The guardian angel

Two Utah State Police officers, acting on the advice of two fishermen, spotted an overturned automobile in the freezing waters of a river near the town of Spanish Fork.

Suddenly, to their amazement, they heard a weak but definite voice coming from the crashed automobile. “Help me,” he yelled.

And authorities discovered an 18-month-old daughter alive in the vehicle, but she surely couldn’t have shouted for assistance. The baby’s mother, who investigators subsequently learned had just off the road for no reason, was dead in the driver’s seat.

So she couldn’t have been the originator of the mystery requests for aid either. So who requested for help?" This voice was not simply in our thoughts." One of the policemen remarked, “She was real, and she didn’t look like a little girl screaming for help.”

Although he spent more than 14 hours face down in the cold, without food or drink, the small kid survived owing to his mysterious guardian angel.
