The Oculus Anubis Mystery Solved
The Temple of Oculus Anubis is warranted another entry in its long, strange pantheon. We had resolved many of the more nefarious myths surrounding the Damascus, Oregon compound in our article, “The Temple of Oculus Anubis Solved," published back in October of 2016. Yes, we can safely say that such of the conjecture and lore – from cannibal cabals to Eyes Wide Shut fan-fiction – had been disproven, much to the chagrin of every laptop-theorist this side of the Mason Dixon. There is no Egyptian death cult – just a secretive family with a successful eye-care business and a knack for theatrical Egyptian decor, as we had surmised. However, as I look back at the aforementioned article's byline it's entirely possible that I may have written the cosmic check to come; one that's usually doled out to such a cocksure assessment that it had been "solved." I am humbled to admit that it wasn't: it seems there was something nefarious going on behind the ominous gates, something that was far too real.

The only sound that could be heard was the never ending chirping of crickets, the rustling of the too tall grass as it moved with the wind, and the whisper of the running water. The air was heavy with humidity and the night sky seemed higher without the pollution of the neighborhood lights. Best Murder Documentaries on Netflix. Top Story - March 2018.
Netflix is home to a bounty of amazing documentaries, from TV mini-series or full-fledged features, and they're often some of the most interesting around. One of the more approachable and proliferated topics of discussion is, of course, crime as can be seen in their new addition of The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story (which I highly recommend, despite it not being a documentary per say). True crime documentaries—and I mean true crime—are hard to come by nowadays, but as you might expect there are an abundance hidden within the deep, dark recesses of the immense Netflix library.

The Killer Within!
There are many types of people in the world. Some are good and others are, well, not good. Unless one has a divine background, we all have to deal with our demons. Many manage to keep them under control while others do not. This is why we have jails and penitentiaries for those who cannot control their demons. This constant inner struggle is a part of life. I should know. I have struggled with my demons early on in life. That’s right. I admit that I had to struggle, too.

Opinion: Is Being a Criminal in Your Genetics?
In light of recent events — most notably the instance of the Florida school shooting — I want to turn my attention to a largely controversial and endlessly talked about topic. What makes a criminal into a criminal? Is it plausible that some of us may be born with certain DNA that would, in turn, make us more likely to commit criminal acts, or is it the environmental factors that make all the difference? We won’t truly ever know.
