Memoirs of a Dope Man (Pt. 4)
At 17, I figured that my mailbox posting days were over. It was my spot indeed, but you would never see me there unless you were one of my loyal customers, other than that I'm checking the mail for all they knew. Things started to get hectic after a shootout and robbery happened at one of my acquaintance's spots and murder right in front of the complex where a man was gunned down in his car with his five-year-old son, the pot was boiling over. I decided to switch speed and get off of the corner for the moment. My only addiction to anything in life was to never be one with empty pockets. Delivering a product which is in very high demand for a quick and high return became very addictive to me as soon as I got the fundamentals of it down pact I took flight, I was always smart enough to know when to land.

Call it human nature, nosiness, or just plain fascination—there is something inherently intoxicating about cult documentaries. While they are quite dark in nature, they are nonetheless intriguing; mostly due to the fact that they just appear so insane that you couldn't believe people ACTUALLY fell for that kind of a farce. But hindsight is 20/20, and these poor victims who fell pray to "drinking the Kool Aid," so to speak, made gruesome history in the process.

For instance, Stormy Daniels is the porn star that is a thorn in Donald Trump's side, Stephanie Clifford is the real-life counterpart. Confusing? It should be. Porn stars want to retain a certain amount of anonymity. David Meza was no different, though he had more than one secret identity. He appeared in scenes for Sean Cody and Mormon Boyz as Mario Romo, Francisco, and Gonzalez. The secret identities didn't stop at having multiple stage names though, Meza was hiding secrets from nearly everyone in his life.

The summer of 1992 was a great transition for me. My cousin who was like an older brother to me was murdered by his best friend on his 20th birthday in Washington D.C. The story is that he was murdered trying to retrieve his gun that he lent to his friend. He returned it to him with a bullet attached and robbed him of all of his jewelry. It was a devastating and confusing time in my life. On one end I was ready to dive into the drug business feet first, but when death hit that close to home it had me second guessing.

Laid to Rest
I am still breathing so I know that I am alive. I can't see anything. I open my eyes, but it is pitch black and my eyes see only darkness. No sounds to give me a clue as to where I am. Am I in my bed waking from a dream? I just don't know. I know it is dark and quiet. Smell. I smell wood. When you walk into Lowes lumber entrance and all you can smell is fresh lumber. Yes, that is what I smell, fresh lumber. Okay, so now I am going to lift my hand out in front of me to see what I touch, maybe there was just a blackout and the power is out. Wait, I can't lift my arm, only my hand. My hand touches wood. I move my hand up and down and realize where the lumber smell is coming from. The smell is so strong of wood because I am surrounded by it. I am in a box surrounded by fresh lumber. A box, no I am in a coffin.
