He occasionally lashed out, even calling Jodi "slut" in texts and emails.

A lot of Alexander's friends also started to believe that Arias had an unhealthy infatuation with him. She listened in on his talks, perused his emails and social media profiles.

Arias obsession with Alexander became a thing of worry for his friends who asked him to be careful.

Despite their breakup, they continued to see each other.

Alexander maintained that he sincerely liked Jodi Arias and that she was a decent person, but he ultimately made the decision to break things off. The U.S. Sun claims that Alexander stopped seeing Arias because he felt too bad about having extramarital sex. But despite their breakup, they continued to see each other.

This exacerbated Arias' fixation on Alexander. Alexander told friends that Arias harassed the women he went out with, hacked into his Facebook account, and slashed his tires as he began meeting other women. She occasionally even broke into his home.

Their love had turned toxic over time. According to texts and emails sent by the two in May 2008, Alexander and Arias got into a heated argument during which Alexander referred to Arias as a "sociopath." Don't be shocked if you discover me dead one day, Alexander even warned his buddies.

Jodi's story kept changing

Jodi Arias provided an explanation in response to the images of Travis in the shower. She confessed to the police that on June 4, she had driven to Alexander's home. She allegedly began snapping pictures of him in the shower after they allegedly had intercourse, according to Arias. She claimed that two disguised intruders then showed up and killed him.

The invaders allegedly threatened her life if she contacted anybody about the incident. Investigators, however, didn't believe her and accused Jodi Arias of first-degree murder.

Ultimately, a jury decided to convict Arias of first-degree murder after siding with Alexander rather than Arias. Jodi Arias was given a life sentence.
