Ukraine to where?

When the Europeans watch the Ukrainian refugees fleeing from death and seeking asylum in other countries, they sympathize with them and extend a helping hand to them

First of all, it must be pointed out that the Palestinian people and the Arab nation as a whole - with the exception of the apostate Arabs - can never provide support to the person of the Ukrainian president, who supported and encouraged the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip, the demolition of residential buildings and the killing and displacement of children, the elderly and women, for personal gain. cramped. Once again, for narrow personal gain, the Ukrainian president took all the decisions that opened the door wide to the Russian attack on Ukraine, and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian people. But we undoubtedly stand with the Ukrainian people, because we believe in the words of Martin Luther King, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

When the Europeans watch the Ukrainian refugees fleeing from death and seeking asylum in other countries, they sympathize with them and extend a helping hand to them, but when the Palestinians watch the Ukrainian refugees, they grieve deeply and weep with grief and pain for the Ukrainian refugees, because they know for sure that the Ukrainian refugees hold the keys Their homes are just as the Palestinians did, when they were forced to leave their homes in Palestine, and here Palestinian memories mix with the bitter Ukrainian reality, so there is no longer a barrier separating the Ukrainian tragedy from the Palestinian tragedy, and the pain becomes one and the dream of return is one.

Ukraine on a hot tin

The collapse of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact was a milestone in international politics, and NATO was supposed to become part of the past, or a relic of the Cold War, but the opposite happened, as NATO opened its arms to most of the countries that were members of the Warsaw Pact, and most of them joined the European Union, Unipolar politics began.

Unipolar politics mean ignoring others and their real and perceived security needs, which is what the United States did when it encouraged Ukraine to join NATO and the European Union. The Ukrainian president made a big mistake, thinking that the United States would defend Ukraine. NATO has declared that it will not intervene in the war, but will support Ukraine financially and militarily, and this means that Europe and America will fight Russia to the last Ukrainian man. This is the live and visible reality of Ukraine, but the Ukrainian president may have intentionally, or unintentionally, sacrificed Ukraine to remake a new world. The world before the Ukrainian crisis will not be the same as the world after it, because many and many questions must be answered, including, but not limited to:

*Will Russia, China and other countries accept the continued US control of the global financial market?

* Do Russia and other countries accept America's continued control of communications centers?

Will the world return to the Cold War and proxy wars?

Will we witness the emergence of a Russian-Chinese alliance and other countries?

* European countries are the biggest losers after Ukraine. Will this affect European-American relations?

* Will the dollar face competition in international trade dealings?

Despite everything that has been said and will be said about the Ukrainian-Russian war, whether it is long or short, the result and the solution are crystal clear. Ukraine will be agreed on the neutrality, integrity and unity of its territory free of nuclear weapons. In short, they may use a copy of the Russian-American agreement that was signed to resolve Cuban Missile Crisis. Here, a very important question must be asked: Was the Russian-Ukrainian war inevitable? Or could it have been avoided? Clarity of vision in making political decisions is very important and dangerous. For example, a doctor may take a wrong decision that leads to the death of a patient, and an engineer may take a wrong decision that leads to the collapse of an apartment building, and this applies to all human activities, with the exception of political activity. A politician like Hitler makes a political decision that leads to the killing of millions of people, and another politician may make a decision to sign an agreement like the Oslo Accords that destroys the country and the people. As for Ukraine, the Ukrainian president’s lack of clarity of vision and complete ignorance of the red lines that cannot be crossed, his lack of understanding of the personality of those who make decisions on the other side, and his lack of knowledge to what extent he can pull Sid’s hair, without cutting it, and if we add to that His personal ambition We get one result: the Ukrainian president has pushed Ukraine into the arms of the Russian bear. The media space that deals with war as a marketable commodity is disgusting and disgusting. Everything that is said in this media space seems insignificant in front of the wheel of death and destruction plaguing Ukraine. We, the Palestinian people, are saddened by the Ukrainian people experiencing the same tragedy that we lived through and are still experiencing today.

My brother, Ukrainian refugee, always remember that there is a Palestinian refugee on the other side of the world who has experienced the same tragedy and is ready to help you.
