Embarrassment
How I Almost Joined an MLM
I have a mentor that I work with on my career goals, let's call him Sam. Sam is a trusted individual in my life, who I can also call a friend and have a professional relationship with. He’s a sharp guy, big into self-help books and personal and professional development. He often spoke about his ‘business’ that he worked on evenings and weekends, but remained vague when I asked about what it is. I knew he was part of a mentorship group, that he spent a lot of his free time on travelling to London for ‘leadership conferences’ and attended online seminars on personal development. In one of our mentor sessions, I may have expressed an interest in creating some passive income, but still needed to look for ideas.

Madness
The person I used to be can never return because I won’t let her. She was naïve. She let her emotions dictate her life. She was explosive and reckless. She did her best, though, and I’ll forever respect her. But this new person that I have become came at a price that there is no refund for. Unimaginable loss. Tragedy. Pain. The lessons that I had to learn burned the old me alive. With no guidance or survival guide, the only thing left to do was transform. It feels like a lifetime has passed, a different time and place. But, if you look deep enough into my eyes, you can still see her weeping face. (Beauty in Darkness, by B. Vigil.)

How to Protect Yourself from Financial Fraud
The pursuit of financial gain is typically behind most cons, although some are more transparent about it than others. Scammers could try to convince you to pay for something you don’t need or ask you to put money into something shady in order to get their money. The majority of them, on the other hand, are designed to harvest information for the purpose of financial gain.

Meet you
The more you look at your back, the farther you go, and the more tears blur my eyes. I've missed you countless sleepless nights. Meeting you in a sea of people is the most beautiful destiny of my life. A turn from you has become my deepest thought. If I hadn't met you, where would I be now? What I want is very simple, I just want to have you by my side forever.

Where's the Head
Being divorced for more than fifteen years, I had learned to do things on my own. I did things my way and had become independent enough not to rely on anyone’s help. To be honest, there were other options for me. My sons were preteens and while they were a big help to me, I still found the need to do many things without asking them for help.

Modern Day Mix Tape 2
For me, I travel through time and space through music. Music is my time travelling companion. The force that opens the portal. It is and always has been music. I am able to be moved from here to there most easily through what I hear. Music is how I travel through time. Music is my first love and my last love. I have had many loves in between where it started and where it will end, but it always has been and always will be music for me. My one true. That and Jesus, which goes without saying but I should say it. Considering Jesus loves music. "Don't be a prude- not when it comes to music" is something I think I have heard him say....

The Hidden Journey
The life of an empath is a lonely journey. Picking up on everyone and everything is exhausting! So much so you may view yourself as the victim, or think you are depressed, anxious or an introvert. If you identify with any of these it does not necessarily mean you are an empath.

I Really Need a Life Laundry
I never actually watched the TV show Life Laundry, but I get the premise. In the show, London-based American home consultant Dawna Walter, and house clearance specialist Mark Franks went to the aid of people who had an issue with hoarding clutter.
