A Weird Dream I Had Lately
I had a weird dream last night. It's not the first time I've had bizarre dreams, but this one really takes the biscuit. It's the type of dream you wake up thinking what the hell just happened. It's one that I felt compelled to write about and share. In the dream, I was on a cruise ship. The ship was filled with anime characters and religious figures. I have no idea what the destinations or ports were, but I remember the interiors, and our cabins perfectly. Everything was candlelit and we were served by nuns and priests as they gave these delicious meals and we had to pray before our meals. The cabins were basic, but the corridors and the lounges were exotic. They also had a built-in church on the top deck and my cabin was right by it. My cabin number was 2201.

an okay saturday
September 3rd, 2022 It’s been a happy day so far. I’m lying in bed and there are clouds in the sky, occasionally blocking the Sun and introducing the cooling shade of soon to be Autumn, my favorite season. The dark and orange tones of this time of the year soothe me. The sunsets are mesmerizing and the days are both warm and cold.

I was at my friend’s place a few weeks back giving them a hand with a few things. They had a tree that needed to be cut down and I headed over to grab the axe. I’ve never seen them move so fast in my life, they got to the axe before me and said, “Ah, I think after what happened before, maybe I’ll do the chopping”.

Are some friends really only meant to stay for a little while?
I have been extremely busy and have lost some motivation to do my online recruiting work! Sometimes I wish I was a mom already and had a husband who would take care of the finances, but also maybe when I have that life, I would crave and miss young Dom who had the freedom to pick up her life and move anywhere she desired.

Invasion of Privacy
My husband and I had been taking a shower while everyone was still home. I haven't been feeling the best so far this morning. So while we were showering my mother in-law is watching us. There was a darkness in her that I never saw. She almost looked angry while watching us.

Hot Girl Summer
One of the requirements for my Bachelor’s degree was an internship at a professional theater. It was the summer between my Junior and Senior year. There were only a handful of us in the acting track at my small liberal arts college. We carpooled to one of those “cattle call” auditions where all the regional theaters find college kids for their summer productions.
