Giving up so easily
During a meeting recently, due to some differences in opinion and perception, an influential acquaintance decided to quit his position of responsibility because he couldn’t get along with others and couldn’t seem to get his point across. Despite multiple trials, the crowd just couldn’t understand his perception of things and even though they didn’t intend to fire him, he decided to resign to avoid unnecessary conflicts with everybody else. This happened to the surprise of everybody, especially considering the fact that he was so influential and his opinion was never underestimated.

Exposed.
The most exposed I’ve ever truly felt has been when something I’ve written has been published. There’s something so tormenting about knowing that the creative baby from your mind’s womb has been birthed publicly for all to judge. Even being fully nude on a beach hasn’t evoked so many complicated emotions in me, and trust me, that wasn’t something you’d have wanted to witness. Yet, here I am doing it once again and, additionally, committing myself to this masochistic torture which seems to derive its power from my public humiliation. Well, YOLO and c’est la vie because when in Rome, whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I’m pretty sure that was the “quote of the year” for 2023, so there’s no where to go but up from here.

I fell in love with a Felon
In a world full of judgement this is a story I never wanted to share directly in detail. Over the last two years since I began speaking with him I've posted about my feelings in a round about way, not giving to many details of our story. Through my writing on here it has brought me a lot of healing and a way to process the last two years of my life. I believe as a story teller, it's always good to share the good and the bad, but also the most vulnerable parts of your life. Not only does it help me heal, but I hope that my story could be comforting for someone else that might have went through or is currently going through a similar situation.

Just Like Me
What am I doing throwing myself at you like this? I have self control. I have self reliance. What makes me so enthralled with you? You may not be a mystery but you seem to be everything. Everything that I could be working for. The vision of a future where I see it all come to pass. The one experience sparked what charmed phoebe saw in her vision sometime ago. A premonition of what’s to come. Not knowing when but seeing what could be. So smooth how it all fits into place. The conversations and the connection. I wonder what happened or where I went wrong.

Why nobody is helping you.. Top Story - January 2024.
I received recently a message from a stranger on LinkedIn which I found very rude and misguided, so I thought I’ll write an article about it. This total stranger after a quick “Hello” message proceeded to send me a good bunch of messages asking me to help him any way I could, he was very persistent on me finding a job for him. I was taken aback by all these messages, firstly because this was a total stranger to me and secondly even if I felt like helping him, his very aggressive approach left a sour taste to say the least.

Shove the food down, not love
I loved receiving princess treatment from Leo. He treated me like I mattered, like I had a place in this wreckage world. Leo had been my 3rd boyfriend since starting at my new job. Maybe 3 is my lucky number, or well not so lucky for him.

The insecurity in my eyes
I have come across a good number of persons who do have a problem of insecurity and I thought I’ll address it in an article even though I think most of them won’t get the opportunity to read this. Regardless! For those who will get the chance, I hope this can make a change in your life for the better and help you feel less insecure.

Setting yourself up for failure
When you walk into any classroom setting, you notice people sitting at the front of the hall and people sitting at the back of the hall. Was their choice of sitting position random, or did they deliberately choose where they wanted to sit in the hall? From observation, you realize that it doesn’t matter where the entrance into a hall is, people systematically choose where they want to be seated and how far they want to be from the person giving the lesson. It's fair to say that your sitting position can influence your success rate.

I Am The Laziest Vocal Creator. Content Warning.
Introduction Every piece I write that is less than six hundred words makes me feel that I am the laziest of all Vocal Creators. The music is "Lazyitis" by The Happy Mondays. Appropriate? I think so.

Do I really need a new phone?
Recently, I lost my phone, and here is my experience without one for a while. Nowadays, not having a phone is like being handicapped; it's like you lack an arm or a leg because there are just so many things you won’t be able to do. Things like communicating, getting information, speed thinking, note-taking, purchasing things and much more. A great deal of our lives is getting digitalized, making these little computers indispensable, like an extension of our bodies.
