The Deep of Night
Cameron was never really much into going out on the weekend, she was more of a, stay at home and watch a movie then make dinner type of person. Even then she had some how found herself getting ready to go to a party with her college roomate Sandra. Sandra was very out going and she and Cameron had been roomates in their little on campus apartment for three months. They got along well enough. Cameron would usually join Sandra for lunch in the cafeteria and they would sometimes walk to class together, maybe go grab a coffee on the weekend. But Sandra never considered Cameron as a friend she thought of them more as aquantinces that happened to live together. Cameron on the other hand didn't go out much so she considered Sandra a close friend in the college world. Sandra had invited Cameron to a party out at a friends cabin where they had a hot tub and privacy to do whatever they want. Cameron was nervous to go to a party, she hadn't really been to one before. Sandra was hoping that Cameron might make some new friends so maybe she could get out more with other people and not always ask to hang out with her, She thought it was annoying.

Heavy. That's what I felt. I went over to the table and picked up the scroll. It was sealed with a ribbon tied to it. Expecting it to be light, I was surprised at its heft. Underneath attached to the scroll was a small leather pouch. Coins, I would imagine to help me on my quest. I would look at that later. Tucking it into my jerkin, where my cowl sits round my shoulders, for camouflage, I went over to the door and told the guard, "Call the Lord Chancellor. The King wants to see him."
