How the Shatter Me Series Reflects Mental Health Struggles. Content Warning.
Mental health has become a central theme in modern literature, especially in young adult (YA) fiction, where emotional authenticity is deeply valued. One of the most compelling portrayals of psychological struggles in recent YA literature can be found in the shatter me series by Tahereh Mafi. This best-selling dystopian saga is much more than a story about supernatural powers and a crumbling society—it is an emotional journey through trauma, isolation, anxiety, and self-acceptance.

The Eyes of Ashman
Aisling Delaney had always known there was something wrong with the attic. When she bought the crumbling Victorian townhouse in East London—a “fixer-upper” with charm and cheap rent—she had no illusions. The place needed work. She didn't mind, though. She was a director, after all, and saw potential in the cracks. a location for writing. to produce. More than anything, she needed silence.

I Ghosted My Best Friend—And This Is What I Wish I Could Say Now

The Immigrant Veronicas Story
Hello everyone My name is Nery and I am an author based in Kingswood in Bristol and I have recently had my first book published entitled 'The Immigrant Veronicas Story'. It's a true-crime, semi-autobiographical story telling the harrowing and shocking true story of Veronica as she endured domestic abuse and violence from a very young age that continued in to adulthood. She escaped her constant pain and suffering to start a new life away from her family, her friends and the country she called home. Her new life in England bought peace and solitude only for a short while as a new regime of terror began that eventually led to murder. My story is based on actual events that occurred in Bristol in 2003 and carry memories that still haunt me even today. My novel has caught the attention of the media as it has had two newspaper articles published about it. One was in the Bristol Post newspaper last month and the other in this months edition of the Kingswood Voice. The links to the articles are below where you can learn more about my life in Bristol, my story and the inspiration behind it's creation.
