My Review of 'Tales from the Tour Bus': Season 2
Tales from the Tour Bus is an interesting concept that I think could have been influenced from The Chappelle Show. Dave Chappelle made skits with Charlie Murphy narrating his recollection of stories in the past when he used to hangout with his famous brother Eddie. He used to be able to hangout with tons of stars. Tales from the Tour Bus reminded me so much about Charlie Murphy's Rick James, Prince story in The Chappelle Show.

The Millennials & The Monkees
The millennial generation is now the largest, most ethnically diverse generation in American history. Though it is heavily debated, it is likely the age range is around those who are 18-35 today. And with this comes a particular style of expression that has spread among young people. The millennial "brand" of surrealism humor that is both popular and sometimes dark. And the more one grows alongside this trend, the easier it becomes to see the call-backs to a time before. One television show of the sixties in particular, The Monkees, has astounding similarities. Though it was aimed to children of a past generation, young people of today would find a lot to identify with. What made the show so revolutionary and controversial in the sixties is the same type of humor that appeals to millennials today.

A Modern Day Renaissance Man
Earlier this week I was reading up on the Renaissance for my Western World history class. The era’s prominent characters are now referred to as “Renaissance Men”: A person with many talents or areas of knowledge. As I read about Lorenzo De Medici, Michelangelo, and Leonardo Da Vinci, I was stunned by their ability to master numerous crafts throughout the arts and sciences. I began to wonder if we had any Renaissance Men in 2017. It didn’t take long to realize that we do, and we’ve had one for quite a few years now.
