Mikeydred: Sound Presents In 2024
Introduction I have already entered one piece into this challenge but wasn't sure how to structure it, but found a way and I will include it in the conclusion to this one. Then I thought that our years could be tracked in holidays and birthdays as well as other events.

Hollywood stuntman to movie star Ryan Gosling bringing mega gym home to Blackburn
Blackburn, a town nestled in Lancashire, England, has always been known for its industrial heritage and close-knit community. However, in recent years, it has garnered attention for an entirely unexpected reason: Ryan Gosling, the Hollywood heartthrob and acclaimed actor, has chosen this unassuming town as the site of a revolutionary fitness and stunt training gym. The project, dubbed "The Mega Gym Initiative," is not just a gym but a state-of-the-art training facility aimed at blending Hollywood-level fitness with grassroots accessibility.

2024 Playlist of Lows and Highs
I have always had such an admiration and love for music ever since I was child. I just love how music can tell a person’s story even without the music artist knowing the person that they are writing about. But even people in the music industry will tell their own stories through their songs. I was first taught to sing by someone I loved from my family when I was just a little girl; she may be gone now but her love for me and music continues to live on in me. Music over the years has become my passion and my therapy when I’m battling my internal emotions or dealing with everyday struggles. I will say this that this year has been the most chaotic year of my life where I experienced a lot of lows and highs. I am glad that as this year is finally coming to an end, I’m seeing a lot of light and hope as I am getting ready to make a lot of big changes soon for a better future. But here are a few songs that pretty much got me through so much rough times.

What? Another Playlist Prompt?!
In this, my third call for songs for a community playlist, I am appealing to your sense of beauty. I've named the playlist “The Most Beautiful” because I want the song you pick to be, in your opinion, the most stunning that you’ve ever heard.

Ice
Introduction I was running around doing chores and working this morning having enjoyed some buttered sourdough crumpets. I don't like toasted sourdough bread because it's like eating rusted saw blades, but the sourdough crumpets are very passable. Anyway for some reason the Jethro Tull song "Skating Away On The Thin Ice Of The New Day" popped into my head and I thought what about doing a playlist where all the song titles mention "Ice"?

Top Five Live Covers You Should Watch
Not too much on denigrating the art of the cover, now. Especially, as I've made clear, the live one. It's often high stakes thanks to some inaugural, celebratory, or tribute event in an arena, maybe even in front of the original artist. The live cover, in my opinion, is how an artist truly earns their stripes. Have they made it their own whilst honouring the original? Have they chosen the right track, or indeed been chosen for the event correctly? And ultimately, can they sing someone else's notes and lyrics with new, exciting meaning without changing its DNA?

Mikeydred's Sounds 2024
Introduction I am not sure how to do this. A Lot happens to me, but the events are seldom soundtracked by a particular song. However, music is always playing, and you know that almost every poem, story and article that I publish on Vocal has an appropriate song added to it for you to listen to as you read.
