#SpookyTunes Year One
“I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” ―L. M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables It's here at last, friends! Fall. October. The Spooky Season. October is my absolute favorite month. I live in Michigan, where the leaves really put on a glorious show. This is also my birthday month, so I might be a tad biased, but you have to admit, October is pretty awesome.

My Vault of Internet Meme Songs
I'm going to start this post under the assumption you already know what a meme is. Basically, it's a funny inside joke that runs rampant across the internet for a few weeks. While many memes like photos of Kermit are based solely on imagery, many have strong associations with songs. Here are some pieces that I've seen in memes and trends over the past few years, with some background knowledge.

Why I think Rock Music is still King
I love music, it’s one of the things every country in the world has in common. We may not have the same music tastes, but every country on Earth listens to music. The one type of music I think has always been underestimated is Rock (and when I say Rock, I mean all of its sub-genres as well like Metal, Punk, Industrial, Thrash, Glam, Nu-Metal, Symphonic and many more). When a lot of people think of some genres of rock (like Metal) they think of loud, screaming, or devil worshiping and, in some cases, they’d be right, but in a lot of cases they’d be wrong (not about it being loud though). The thing they are missing is that even a lot of the bands that scream have lyrics that are deep and meaningful and just because a song mentions the devil or sounds devilish doesn’t mean it is. Over the past year or so I’ve listened to people react to rock music on YouTube and I was pleasantly surprised that when most people really give it a chance, they appreciate or even love it.

Songs my ADHD has on REPEAT
Songs my ADHD has on Repeat... Yes, you read that title correctly. According to researchers, a side effect of severe ADHD is listening to the same songs on repeat for a short burst of time. Considering I’ve been doing this since the dawn of the original iPod shuffle, where I could clip that beautiful silver bullet to my belt loop and walk around like an absolute boss, I’ve had ADHD much longer than originally thought.

The Many Risks of Live Performances: Common Personal Injury Cases for Musicians
A singer is exposed to a wide range of risks during a live performance. Accidents that happened on stage quickly make headlines and fuel the public frenzy. Depending on the specifics of each case, the singer who fell victim to a physical injury may take legal action against the person or legal entity responsible for the accident. To do so, the fault for the accident must be attributable to a party.

25 Greatest Songs of Pink Floyd
A band like Pink Floyd has many, many great songs. One could argue that every song they ever recorded is great. This list painfully narrows it down to 25 songs. Many great songs are left out, and we all have our opinions as to what are the greatest of the greats. This blog post is just one person's opinion regarding some of Pink Floyd's greatest songs.
