Twelve (12) Women Who Linked Ur to Nazareth and Shaped the Nation of Israel
Introduction to Women in the Ancestry and History of Ancient Israel While Matthew’s Gospel famously highlights five women in the genealogy of Jesus (Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary), the wider biblical record introduces many more women connected to Israel’s unfolding story. Some are celebrated matriarchs; others appear only briefly. Yet each woman—whether prominent or obscure—stands as part of a long, complex lineage stretching from Ur of the Chaldeans to a humble Galilean village called Nazareth.

Best Female Violinists of all Time (My Opinion)
(1) British Violinist Vanessa-Mae Vanessa-Mae Vanakorn Nicholson is a British violinist known simply as Vanessa-Mae (?? Chén Mei). She was born October 27, 1978, to a Singaporean mother and a Thai father, but she was adopted by a British citizen and was raised in England. At the age of 4, she started playing the violin. My discovery of this talented violinist was accidental.

5 Must-Watch Historical Korean Dramas Inspired by Webtoons
♦ The History of Webtoons ♦ The term “webtoon” (웹툰) combines web + cartoon. Today, webtoons are a major force in digital entertainment. How did they get here? It all started in the early 2000s, when Korean portals like Daum (2003) and Naver (2004) started hosting vertically scrolling comics optimized for computers and, later, smartphones. They grew in popularity very quickly for a number of reasons, beginning with the fact that most webtoons were free to read. Additionally, they have a mobile-friendly design, there are diverse genres and voices, and social media sharing is super easy. Finally, webtoons have enjoyed cross-media success. Popular webtoons actually inspired anime, films, and Korean dramas, and more readers got addicted. By the late 2010s, Naver (with WEBTOON) and Kakao (with Tapas) had gone global, translating top series into English, Japanese, French, etc. Amazing success story, huh?

My First Impression of Famous Impressionist Painters
The letter "i" stands for "I'm impressed." The term “impressionism” was first used in 1874, and its initial usage was not very complimentary. A critic was making a sarcastic remark about one of Monet's landscape paintings. Not allowing an unfavorable judgment to cramp his style, Claude Monet (1840 – 1926), working with Pierre Auguste Renoir (1841 – 1919), developed the technique of broken-color painting. These two artists are recognized as the founders of the art form known as Impressionism.

[Movie Review] The Manchurian Candidate ~ Original Versus Remake: Which is Better?
What is more fun than watching a great old movie? Watching the movie remake back-to-back for contrast and comparison. One of my favorite, most enjoyable pastimes is re-watching an old movie (from back in my day - the 60s and 70s), viewing an updated version of the movie, and then debating with others for hours about which version is the best.
