20. Labyrinth, by Kate Mosse. This was a Christmas gift from my friend Jamie (Christmas 2012, not this one), and it is, like Gabaldon’s work, chic lit for the smart chic. I add it here because (ha, the same reasons, actually!) it has action, it has romance and it has magic... and because I learned a lot about the Crusades and the Inquisitions (both from the actual book and from all the research that it led me to), and this feeds my own writing so organically!

In the pursuit of true success
First of all, we have to define what true success is. This tends to be a very debatable issue for people, but within this entry I will give a definition that has brought me joy, peace of mind and enhanced my health during the course of my path towards achieving said true success. Oh, but *you* don’t have that success yet, you might be thinking right now. True and untrue at the same time. I’ll explain why.
