Apologetic letter to my inner child
To my younger self, Where do I begin? Apologies are not our strongest point but I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you never got the chance to heal, my love. From traumas that seemed so trivial like parents' divorces, family arguments, moving states and adult problems. You are just a child how could have you had the chance?

Sir Theodore Edward Donald Dennis Yetman Bear
When I was a young girl, I was given a teddy bear as a gift for Christmas. I would tuck the bear in with me every time I went to bed. It just made everything feel calmer at bedtime and the comfort it gave to have something there to kind of protect me. The bear I had been given I passed down to my children and it helps them as well.

I do not understand how it got to this. I am alone. I knew it was going to happen eventually. I just thought it would be years from now, leaving home and going off to university with my best friends or getting a part time job and saving up to travel Australia. But no.
