I'm...

for those who find them selves getting lost in someone else's imagination

I'm the brave knight in shining armor

fighting for the one I love

I'm the kung fu fighting monk

finding solace in the sky above

I'm the peasant commoner

pulling swords out from cold stone

I'm the ancient wizard

casting spells, in the hills, all alone

I'm the newborn floral fairy

spreading my wings for the first time

I'm the tricky sticky elf

telling crafty riddles and rhymes

I'm the beautiful princess

waiting in the tallest tower

I'm the shifting golden sand

passing through the glass-hour

I'm the great big elder tree

that tells the stories of the past

I'm the scallywag pirate

hanging from the ships mast

I'm the flippers in the sea

that send sailors to their knees

I'm the shape-shifting nymph

hiding in the brushes of trees

I'm the Olympians champion

athletic, fast and strong

I'm the big bad wolf

howling at the moon all night long

I'm the cunning thief

trying not to get caught

I'm the fire-breathing dragon

that the knight had fought

I'm the green alien

that comes in peace

I'm the vampire bat

finding my next feast

I'm the elementals

fire, air, earth and water

I'm the skilled archer

known as the hunter's daughter

I'm the baby bear

whose porridge is just right

I'm the scary deathly silence

and the bump in the night

I'm the wishes granted

from genies and shooting stars

I'm the lost boy from Neverland

next to the northern star

I'm the trials and sacrifices

and wars that need to be won

I'm the completion of triumphs and conquests

that saves everyone

I'm the imagination

that comes from reading a page

Hoping that one day

I'll make someone else feel this way.

About the Creator

Rose Wright

I'm from a sunburnt country and find solace in the rain when it beats down. As if the world tells me to slow down and enjoy so when that time comes I submerse myself in fiction books, inventing stories and painting.

Be kind and stay cool!
