Special Olympics at Somers : Everyone Wins

But the real outcome was not on the scoreboard, according to one spectator.

The John Jay High School Theater Workshop brings 42nd Street to Lewisboro
Please see tip, pledge and subscribe buttons or my venmo is @Rich-Monetti Slideshow 42nd Street first premiered in 1932 and tells the iconic story of a small town girl who makes it big under the bright lights. “This is as old school Broadway as you can get,” said Anne-Marie Gerard Galler. So a time warp is probably the only way we could see the production now. But thanks to the John Jay High School Theater Workshop the space time continuum does not need to be manipulated and neither does the MetroNorth ticket machine.

Ryan Ball Has Many Thanks After Taking Sixth in the States

Success by any measure, the junior’s motivation for the two day affair was partly driven by failure and a defining photo.

GreeleyJay Season Ends in Heartbreak
Please see tip, pledge and subscribe buttons or my venmo is : @Rich-Monetti On Tuesday February 25, GreeleyJay traveled to Hommocks Ice Arena in Larchmont and faced Mamaroneck in a true back and forth. The quarterfinal round, Mamaroneck scored first, GreeleyJay answered, the Tigers regained the lead and GreeleyJay tied with 1:39 remaining in the game. So the lower seed was obviously hoping the string could be broken.

John Jay Has a Lot to be Proud of Despite Loss to Peekskill

A berth in the sectionals wasn’t bad either. But the merit still meant playing fourth seeded Peekskill and their 14-6 record. No complaints, John Jay’s good early start didn’t hold up after a long season.

John Jay's Season Comes to an End at Clarkstown South
Please see tip, pledge and subscribe buttons or my venmo is : @Rich-Monetti All Winter Slideshows John Jay’s defeat of Lakeland on the last game of the regular season closed the Wolves out with a .500 record and earned an 11 seed in the first round of the sectionals. Clarkstown South on the other side, a three point second quarter lead looked like the girls might bust the bracket early. But unfortunately the sixth seed pulled even and eventually held their end up.

John Jay Moves to .500 with Big Win Over Somers
Please see tip, pledge and subscribe buttons or my venmo is : @Rich-Monetti On January 24, John Jay and Somers dialed up Friday Night and faced off in front of a packed house at the high school. For the Wolves, the strategy was simple. “Just be aggressive, that’s really it,” said Will Civetta, “make them handle the ball.” .And forcing six turnovers in the first quarter definitely left a mark that Somers could not erase.
