Exploring West Virginia
New River Gorge National River is one of the oldest rivers on the continent. Flowing into West Virginia the river cuts through the Appalachian Plateau and forms the New River Gorge. It provides great whitewater rafting, tubing and canoeing. There are plenty of activities to choose from like hiking, zip-lining, hunting, fishing, bird watching, camping, biking, and rock climbing.

Always and Forever the King of Rock and Roll
Elvis had a powerful voice and when he sang ballads he seemed to put all his emotions in them. Listening to him singing a love song could touch you very heart and soul. The best way to listen to Elvis is to crank up the volume, sit back, close your eyes, and let his voice thrill you.

Amazing Virginia
If you wish to step back into time to the period of the American Revolution then visit Colonial Williamsburg. Many of the original 18th century buildings are still standing. Williamsburg was the capital of Virginia from 1705 and all through the Revolution. It was a most prosperous and politically active capital. Here costumed interpreters show visitors what life was like in days past.

Beautiful Chesapeake
Chesapeake is the third most populous city in the state of Virginia. The Chesapeake Arboretum is the place to go so you can learn all about the flora and fauna in this area. It dates back to the 18th century at which time the farmhouse was built. There are lovely themed garden here. Among them you’ll find a fragrance garden and an antique rose garden. There is also a hardwood forest to explore. This is a stop on the Virginia Birding and Wildlife Trail South Chesapeake Loop.
