Yo Ho Ho And A Bottle Of Rum
The Beheaded Pirate About 1680 a man named Edward Treacher was born in Bristol, England and later would become known as Captain Blackbeard. He was tall and had broad-shouldered. His face was covered by a long, black beard and he had long dark hair. Blackbeard was an impressive sight with a wide-brimmed hat upon his head, long boots, and across his body slings full of pistols. To make himself look angry and dangerous he would attach lit fuses to his hair and as the sparks started to burn smoke was all around. What made Blackbeard stand out from other pirates was that he could read and write.

Strangest Foods
When it comes to strange foods it all depends on how people look at them, where they live, and what they can afford. We all know food is expensive but to live we have to eat. There are places in the world that do not have supermarkets or are far from where they live. Many people are living in poverty and struggling to feed their families and particularly their children. Among the strangest food that is eaten is blood pudding or blood sausage as it is known in Latvia. I was born in the US but my parents came from Latvia. I grew up in two cultures and learned to eat a lot of food I would otherwise not have even known about.

Asia The Cutest Primates Francois Langurs are covered by black fur all over their bodies except for white stripes that stretch from the mouth to the eyes. On top of their heads, they have a triangular peak and a white crest that looks like an eyebrow above the eyes.

Climb Every Mountain
Europe Norway Stetind was unofficially named Norway's national mountain in 2002. Author and mountaineer Peter Wessel Zapple gave this mountain the description going by its smooth, steep shape as “an anvil whereupon the Gods can hammer”. It is located in the municipality of Narvik in Nordland County.
