The Statue
Juan didn't feel like he was obsessive. He just recognised that he got comfort from watching her when he was away from her during the day. That if he wasn't able to return to view her during his breaks, he would feel unsettled and nervous. It never occurred to him that what he was doing was wrong. He was very much of the school of "What they don't know, won't hurt them."

Rachel Reviews: The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop by Lewis Buzbee
I love books in all their forms and this is something that Lewis Buzbee and I have in common. If I had to have a preference, it would be a paperback with thick paper pages and a cover that takes some creasing. But I'm not fussy.

The Reluctant Reporter. Top Story - April 2024. Content Warning.
"You can't send me!" "There is no-one else. It's you or no-one, and that is not an option." Ameera looked at the fat paunch and florid face of her boss, a man who lived for the story and the kudos it brought him but who rarely gave consideration to the people behind the drama. When had he become so hard? She reckoned that by the end of the year, he'd be dead, collapsed from a heart attack and she struggled to conjure any sympathy in that moment and instantly felt ashamed at displaying the same lack of compassion that he had.

The One Hundred
"Why are we here? What do you want with us?" The Creator peered curiously into the glass globe infront of her, a benevolent presence in an otherwise bewildering situation. It was her world and she was its ruler. Like a mad professor in a lab., she could observe and analyse and alter and remove if she liked as she was the controller of the Globe and everything that lay therein.

A Night of Clubbing to Classical Music
The Royal Albert Hall. What a venue. One steeped in history, whose presence speaks of architectural might as manifested by the engineering magnificence of the Victorians, the red brick depicting both the solidness of their design but also their keenness on the aesthetic. Echoes of the Pantheon in Rome are palpable and the royal combination of red brick contrasting with yellow stone, like rubies and gold, speak of opulence and tribute.
