Eclipse comes, lingering, interrupting planets' steady exercises; enter

Crescent layers, inching, providing surprisingly exciting exhibition; crafty

Light is partial; Sun's encroached entrance cracking, letting

In pieces, shafts easing, edging, creeping lightly, inching

Perfectly so Eternity exposes Creation's little intricacies playfully.

Sun emerges, expectantly, coin-rolling like it's performing spectacle!

Entranced, exhilarated: circular luminescence is propitiously secured.

Somehow, I just saw this; better late than never, lol! Your super-acrostic is wonderful! Thank you for commenting on my little "April" poem, which led me here to you. (btw, the eclipse was incredible, wasn't it? We went to Tupper Lake, NY to see it.)

  • Somehow missed this one Rachel! Love the original take on the acrostic, and β€œ In pieces, shafts easing, edging, creeping lightly” is a line I really liked. Nicely doneπŸ€—
