Chrysalis
will there be happiness or will i wake up again with tears already down my face? blame it on the nightmares or another lie you concoct. so good at being sad. will today be different or the replica of yesterday's sorrow? wading through it i've become the water, waiting through it i've become the air, hating through it i've become the fire. just a rough day maybe under the weather been busy lately. liar. look in the mirror your eye catches the disgrace or is it hate in the center of your image. don't be so sad girl, look at all you have. so, grateful I be. radiantly my lips curve smiles fleeting laughs louder than the pain in my eyes. dampening the true me. yes, a fire's within me burning so strong but n e v e r unleashed. wet campfire is me. ignited is you. smudge the reflection away with the steam on the mirror. if you can't smile don't look. And don't look, because you can't smile. but your mind pounds again. just try not to think about it. look at yourself. see your truth. your own eyes catching the steamed mirror...you see it don't you? so lay in bed again. and ask...will you be enough today? will you have the strength? will you be okay? will...what I hold onto grasp at it while it slips out of my finger tips as fast as sand in a sieve drifting, wandering so far till im lost. let go. let go. let go. brave face and a sweet smile now you'll be okay. but tonight you scream the quiet begs for help, trapped in the chrysalis that has hardened around too late to notice– while the world they are sleeping, soundly, peacefully. and your silent stifled sobs ask “why me?”

Transitioning To A Plant-Based Diet 101
How To Transition to a Plant Based Diet: One of the most powerful steps you can take to improve your health, boost energy levels, and prevent chronic diseases is to move to a plant-based diet. There’s excellent scientific evidence that many chronic diseases can be controlled, reduced, or even reversed by moving to a whole-food, plant-based diet. Scientific research highlighted in the landmark book The China Study shows that a plant-based diet can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, certain types of cancer, and other major illnesses. Many people also report bigger fitness payoffs, more energy, reduced inflammation, and better health outcomes after making the switch. Eating plant based doesn't have to mean fully eliminating animal products, but introducing plants as the base of your diet.
