Distracted

Version 2 of Distraction

Down I go again through the rabbit hole

In my mind that keeps on thinking…and thinking,

Subconsciously controlling me despite

The fight I put up for silence, while

Resistance builds its brick walls between my

Autopilot stalled brain and all I wish to

Complete, yet…the cyclical power of my psyche speaks louder

Than my focus can — it always seems when the very

End of day arrives again, I’m still sitting at my

Desk; only then poetry flows through my pen — all other thoughts are statuesque.
