Nellie's Nightmare
I pace the floors, looking for a way out of this windowless maze, coming upon dead end after end. Holding my candle high, I inspect all the nooks and crannies. I moan as I realize I’ve been locked in some sort of crypt. I can see the etchings on the walls, displaying where a tomb would be. I look closer, and the engravings show me the year of the burial of each resting place.

Sleep eludes me. It has wholly forsaken me. I wander through these halls all night looking for that which is lost. I look in the darkest corners and cannot find what I misplaced. But it cannot be located, for it is hidden too well. There is a cold chill that I cannot displace, no matter how many fires I pace in front of.

Willow's Way
Willow liked the cold. Below freezing temps, bring it on. Winter was definitely her favorite time of the year, especially when it snowed. It was the time that she truly felt at ease outside. She could spend hours outside during icy temperatures. Willow found that loving the cold was even more so after her sixteenth birthday.

I’d pushed my luck. I knew I had the moment I climbed the last ledge before the top of the snow-covered mountain. The wind was a full-force gale, blowing the snow like pieces of sand in a sandstorm. It had steadily been getting stronger and louder the closer I got to the tip of Mount Muenster.
