Bluebonnets and Bees

A poem

By Mother CombsPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In a jar full of blue

Is all my love for you

Yellow petals combine

Showing our love entwine

A scent you can almost see

Drawing to it the honey bee

Pollinating our love

With wings from above

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.

A lovely read, full of wholesome imagery and perfectly matching the picture! “A scent you can almost see” is a wonderful turn of phrase too😊
