Who Are You?
Introduction You may not believe it but there are days when I do not publish on Vocal. Today is not one of them but Wednesday 20th November 2024 was one. The number of reads that I get are usually fairly good, but not publishing usually shows a drop. I know sometimes I come across as obsessed with numbers but that is part of my nature and serves me well in my job as well.

Introduction In August 2023 I decided to make the effort to take out my sister Yvonne for a Birthday lunch in Preston. We made plans to meet and all was going well until a derailment at Carlisle meant that all trains going south were cancelled. I had to turn around and had to head home to Newcastle and we decided to try and reschedule.

Warmth
When it's cold outside and you are in your bed, warm sheets under a duvet wrapped in wonderous feelings. There may be rain, snow or ice outside, but you are snuggling swaddled in material that feels like perfectly warm silks around your body. These are the times you don't want to leave your bed, your head on a comfortable pillow, your body warking the sheets and the sheets warming your body, this feels absolutely heavenly. Your bed, the sheets and duvet and your perfect world. Every moment makes you feel happy and loved, and you love being here and could stay here forever. Your arms, hands and feet explore the silky cotton material finding new ways to feel beautiful and satisfied. Your face is smiling, because you love being here and soon you will drift off into the realms of Morpheus where your dreams will come true.......
