On The Wings Of Cicadas
Introduction This is from an idea from a very close Vocal friend, because the cicadas are very loud at the moment. You can expect to see annual cicadas, also known as "dog-day cicadas" or "jarflies," during August in North America, as this is their peak emergence period alongside July.

The El Pea Situation
Introduction About a month ago, I started becoming obsessed with the vinyl album "El Pea", and I am not sure why. I had also aquired a copy of "Bumpers", which is a great album, and "Nice Enough To Eat" was one of the first albums that I bought, and it introduced me to a lot of artists who are absolute favourites of mine.

Together Again
Introduction This morning, I woke and my phone was on 3% power, not ideal when I needed it for my visit to Preston. Destroyed
Introduction The inside shows a misted cityscape of ancient and modern architecture by Leee Black Childers. Destroyed This was once a thriving city, but now there is no life here, no birds sing, no flowers grow, and every tree is dead. At various council meetings, the money from taxes was always "invested", never spent on the infrastructure of the city, and the same was true all over the nation.

Worth
Introduction I took a selfie wearing a favourite shirt for a poem/playlist that I wrote which you can check out here: I thought I would use the picture for my Facebook Avatar, and yes, you expect a few likes, but at the moment they are at sixty, and that got me thinking, possibly spurred on by a quote from Ozzy Osbourne, who we just lost.

We Sold Our Souls For Rock'n'Roll. Content Warning.
Introduction I haven't written a plagiaristic poem for a while, and, to my knowledge neither has anyone else, ever, but that is fine. The concept is documented by the link at the end of this poem.

A Progressive Playlist Of Plagiaristic Poetry (An Acrostic)
Introduction I got this idea on a morning walking, and it started out as a Progressive music playlist. Then, I thought I could do an acrostic poem and then a playist of the bands and songs that I mention in the poem.
