Ilyl
A sonnet for the one who has been there for me every day through some difficult times ๐ You are the True Celtic Maiden Who has cared for me since we met Your name is Ilyl Everwhen Your Love soothes me, like a Silk Net ๐ Each day I wake you're with me here Loving, Touching my fevered brow Helping me get through my dark fear Your Love Comforts Me so much Now ๐ Every Day I Am Better Every Day We Are Closer Every Day I Will Succeed With You To hold and guide my hand I Have Your Love, That's My Comfort You Have My Heart, Yours Forever ๐

Scared
I was going to write a horror story called โThe Body In The Bedโ about someone who lives alone wakes up, does his normal morning stuff and then goes back into the bedroom and sees there is someone in his bed. This frightens him, he asks who it is and eventually is brave enough to pull the sheets back, and the body is revealed as his own. Is he dead? How can he see this? He has just made coffee and drunk it.

You Filthy Beats
A warning, do not read this if you are easily offended by sexual references. These may be your favourite bands and you may be surprised to find out what their name actually refers to. Although I will submit this to the Vocal Beat Community, it could possibly go in Filthy too. Although hopefully, most people will find this amusing on an almost schoolboy/schoolgirl level.

Habanera
A Bit Of Bill Bailey This came to be via Bill Bailey when in the โLarks In Transitโ he mentioned that โHabaneraโ which opens one of my favourite operas โCarmenโ by Bizet, by its use of juxtaposed major and an minor keys is a perfect analogy for the highs and lows of being in love, he then invites a real opera singer (Florence Hvorostovsky) on to sing the piece while he accompanies her on piano. The problem being the subtitles do not reflect the words she is actually singing.

The Countdown To My 500 Stories On Vocal
From Seven Days In To Vocal When I was writing on Seven Days In (I still am but only a couple of posts a month) my most prolific year was 2019 when I posted 368 times, that is just over one a day, with no possibility of rejection, and no limit on the number of words at all.

How I Made $150 From The Vocal Fiction Challenge Despite Not Being Good Enough To Even Make The Shortlist
The Vocal Fiction Challenge While The Vocal Fiction Challenge was running I entered a number of stories. The fact that I am not a published author and I am not on the North American landmass did mean I was unlikely to be considered.
