Another Concrete Island

A Waterfall
This is another sonnet for my wonderful Muse, and for some reason, a waterfall came to mind. I love seeing and being near waterfalls, not so much Niagara but smaller falls like High Force in Durham. Of course, we have to include “Waterfall” by The Stone Roses

Iggy Pop Is The Passenger. Top Story - August 2022.
Introducing The Passenger I have always been a fan of Iggy Pop ever since The Stooges. I loved “The Idiot” his first David Bowie collaboration, but the follow-up, “Lust For Life” was jam-packed with amazing songs like the title track, “Success” and for me, most importantly “The Passenger” written by Ricky Gardiner, the lead guitarist on the album.

On Sunday England Lionesses (I am writing this on Friday 29th of July so it may not get published in time) play Germany in the Euro 2022 Final at Wembley Stadium.
