A ๐ Word ๐ From ๐ You
Introduction I have not written a poem for a friend for a while, but I have one close friend who inspires me just by talking with me. I cannot explain this and certainly do not analyze it. I love talking with her and afterward, so many ideas come flowing out of the ether.

Kitchen Help by Amy Lyn Bihrle . Content Warning.
Introduction I follow The Reiki Cat Lady on Facebook as they share some wonderful feline artwork and this lovely funny one caught my eye to inspire a story. They remind me of my friends Cherri and Amanda's and my daughter Juliet's cats that know where all the treats are hidden, in the kitchen.

Sailin' Shoes
Introduction One of the earliest pieces I wrote for Vocal was this appreciation of the art of Martin Muller (Neon Park). I was originally going to try with "The Last Record Album" but then decided to go with "Sailin' Shoes". In the piece below I do describe the picture in detail, and his work always has so much going on in it.

Golconda (It's Raining Men)
Introduction This is just a series of observations on this painting and its influence on me and others, flying off in many directions. An obvious choice of music is "It's Raining Men" by The Weather Girls but I saw that someone said that "It's Raining Men" and "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor" are just observations on the same event from different perspectives. Two very different types of music, I do like both songs although Drowning Pool's song may not be to everyone's taste as it is loud and violent.

The Last Armada
The Earth's Ecosystems had worked perfectly until the twentieth century. Things had begun to deteriorate with the industrial revolution and then discover that coal and fossil fuels could be burned to drive mill wheels previously driven by water.

It's A Family Affair
Introduction Although with the title we should include the Sly and The Family Stone song and given the same of the band I have just realised that it is a perfect qualification for this playlist and that has just reminded me of a few bands that are made up of family members. The initial idea was to have a parent who made a record and was then eventually followed by their child into making music.
