Poltergeist and Me
As I look back and open the memory box in my mind, I recall a Halloween night in the mid 1980’s. My boys were grown (in their late teens) and rather than go “Trick-or-Treating”, they opted to go to the local park and watch the little kids’ Halloween parade. They brought bags of candy to dole out as they also reminisced about when they were younger and walked in the parade.

You Never Know What You're Going to Find
I am the type of person who is normally aware of my surroundings. You can say it started when I turned about thirteen. Before I get into that, let’s jump back two years. Writer's Block
There are some that will argue that there is no such thing as a writer’s block. I truly admire those who can sit at a desk and begin writing immediately. Very often, I can’t get my body and brain to join forces and give my ambition a kick where it belongs to jump start me into motion. In my own defense, and it isn’t an excuse, just a fact, I’m not lazy. I just have a few health issues that make me more tired than usual. Once the doctors can pinpoint my problem, hopefully the proper meds will help. We’ll see. For the time being, I try to take full advantage of my good days. Like today!

My Threesome
We’re sitting on the couch; he’s watching his usual movie on Netflix. I, as usual, am not interested. I’ve seen it before. Actually, we’ve seen it before but just as usual, he’d fallen asleep and now has no recollection of it. So, he watches it again. I wonder how long it’ll be before he falls asleep tonight and misses the second go-round of the movie – which I found boring in the first place.
