How I TRULY Feel Towards The Last of Us TV Show (Is it really that similar to the video game??)
Just like most people back in the year 2013, I was someone who obsessed over The Last of Us. It was my first year of high school and this video game helped me escape from the horrors of those days. I still remember sneaking away from homework just to go play this game all night long (it was totally worth having to rush through the homework minutes before class started). How could I not love this video game? Everything about the game was fantastic; the visuals, the storyline/plot, and the characters (as well as the character arcs and how they each tied into the story). My attachment to this video game was almost like home for me. I felt safe playing the game, or just laying back and watching lets players play the game on youtube (my all-time favorite let's player for the game definitely had to be PewDiePie).

Forever Imprinted on My Mind
You and me. Me and you. Days full of adventure. Days so full of spontaneous adventures that we never had to worry about what we were going to do that day; you always had it covered. From curling up under the covers to a good movie to running barefoot in the rain, you always had it covered. God, James. Why'd it have to end so soon? Why'd you have to end so soon? I always thought that would be my forever. You'd be my forever. Never would I have thought those adventures would eventually come to an end. Dammit James. Why'd you have to go and ruin such a beautiful thing? Why'd you have to be so selfish, James? It was supposed to be me and you. Me and you, James. Forever imprinted on my mind will be those amazing adventures you always managed to pull out at the most convenient times. Dammit James. You really did have me hoping for a forever with you. You really had me sitting on my bed, praying for your next text message... wondering where you were going to take us next.

Always, You & I
He stood on the other side of the hotel room, looking out onto the small town through the old, tattered blinds that were barely keeping us hidden in the small room. His body was shifted towards the side, almost as if he was trying to keep on eye on the outdoors and myself at the same time. His gun rested on the old table just inches from his grasp.

Mauve's Survival Guide for the Mentally Exhausted
The name's Mauve Laudamilk. Barely twenty, and already feel as if I've hit rock bottom. God. If you would've told five year old me that my mom's new boyfriend would've turned me into who I became today, she would have probably just been so disappointed. That young girl had so much hope for our future. She'd be so upset knowing I blew it all away for a one way ticket down to hell.
