How my wife's toxic abuse saved my life
One of the things about crazy is that it can be extremely difficult to detect at the beginning of a new relationship. Unhinged people do not go around with a pair of Janet Reger knickers on their head with 'I Am Batshit Crazy' writ large across the crotch. Of course, crazy people do know they are crazy and do their level best to conceal the condition, very much to the cost of their new victim.

Life is a field full of flowers
For over twenty five years I unwittingly became embroiled in relationship problems of a very deep nature. I spent fifteen years being dragged unceremoniously through the Spanish legal system...and maybe right up to today, it continues in my absence.

Lightning Strikes Twice In The Same Place
Let me, first of all, make it clear that I am no expert on the condition of narcissism. Indeed, it was really only after I had been subject to narcissistic abuse, twice over, which almost cost me my life, that I set about trying to understand the condition. And so I spent a lot of time delving into the background history which lead to it.

Medium And Vocal Media
Let me start this piece by saying that I think that Medium and Vocal Media are both excellent platforms for writers, the best that there are out there. Now I will not be doing an extensive review of each platform. However, what I will say is that they both have great editors and features, though Medium does offer a lot more editing features to add a little sparkle to your submissions. And amongst all of those features is the one very simple feature of being able to delete an article with a single click, which is a godsend for writers like me.

How To Survive A Toxic Narcissist
Allow me to begin this article, in hushed tones, by stating that I categorically have a very deep understanding of this subject, due to having been married with children to two extremely toxic narcissists who almost succeeded in destroying me.

The Long Road to Justice
Finding a good divorce attorney is like looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack. Unfortunately I know only too well from bitter experience that legal practitioners can be slipperier than a bucket full of eels, and as venomous as a black mamba.

How To Resolve A Taxing Family Problem?
As I write the following sorry tale it is coming up to thirteen years since I last had any contact with my two daughters from my first marriage and eight years since I last spoke to my young son from my second marriage. The problem is simple enough, parental alienation. The solution a lot more complex.

Do It Yourself Divorce
Very much to my frustration and cost I found the experience of employing lawers to execute my divorce from my first ex wife excruciatingly painful. That's largely due to the fact that many lawers want to extract the maximum amount of money they can from you. In my experience I found that lots of lawers just want to prolonge the battle between you and your soon to be ex and bill you for extortionate amounts of money for every nano second spent on the case. I actually tried two different firms of lawers and got nowhere. The second one even sent a letter I specifically told him not to send until the New Year so as not to ruin Christmas for my children, and he sent it anyway. As you can guess I paid dearly with my wife for that asshole move.

How Vocal Media Saved My life
In 2020 I started my life as a writer on Medium and over time it worked out fine. Progress was slow to begin with as I went through an acute learning curve, but in the end it was well worth all the hard work and hours spent at my desk. Then, one day in November 2022, whilst out riding my bike in the rain, disaster struck.

The Mysterious Anatomy of An Extra Marital Affair
Like lots of cheat victims, not once but twice, I missed some vital clues early on in my first ex wife's extra marital affair. However, it is very easy to not cotton on when the person who your ex is cheating with is her boss at work. When the affair is happening during work hours only, and your ex, of course, always has to look her best for work, then you really haven't got anything to go on. No nights out with the girls or visiting a friend to raise your suspicions, no indications at all that something is going on behind your back. And yet......there are often very subtle signs hidden in plain sight, but it can be tough one to see them at the time.
