Was I Lucky To Have Two Mothers?
I had a mother forty years older than me, but never a blood father. I have since discovered where my father is, and I don't care. My birth mother Margaret, although intelligent was given a terrible hand with the abundance of illnesses she experienced in her life, apparently from a young age. This is because she had a beautiful mother, although a violent father, mainly because of PTSD from fighting in wars. As a result, he somehow had a curse towards women, and idolised men. My grandmother had a brutal time, having to go to the pub each pay day, to ensure that he doesn't spend his entire pay on alcohol. The family were hungry beyond measure at times (being my birth mother, and her two brothers.)

Protecting Our Earth Starts With You
As our oceans cover a whopping 71% of our planet, it only makes sense that our bodies comprise of 70% water. Our mother earth is not isolated in a vacuum from us. Then again, the current climate change crisis that is making heads, is no doubt awakening us.

Love From Ship to Shore
Magnus is one attractive guy. You would think all eligible bachelorettes would be lining up in line to grab a hold of this attractive hunk, who has just turned over the hill (age 50 precisely). Not so. Not because of this age, yet he has never found the process of dating, courtship and mating to be his strong suit.

Falling Down Is Not Just For Humpty Dumpty
In the spirit of not having any regrets in life, I wish to make an embarrassing health confession. I was stressed out from my part-time retail job back in December 2020. Heck, it wasn't even Christmas yet, and the company's head office team from another state were coming to visit the two stores in Sydney; and the pressure was mounting. Just leave us alone were my thoughts back at the time; particularly as the two stores I worked at kept the business alive during the pandemic. Cleaning and serving a consistent boat load of customers (it certainly felt like it at the time) on my own the day prior to this accident in a tiny shop was stressful; as well as juggling my UX Design freelance work (with one ongoing client at the time). On the morning of my fall, I had to come into work at 6am, in order to help them finish the clean up efforts. That three-hour shift dragged on, and lo and behold 9am came, and I could not rush home fast enough to get changed into a loose, summery dress with thongs, and meet my partner, and then head to the beach together. He had no regrets by quitting his law job a few weeks prior.

Discovering ASMR
One zen playlist of natural sounds, and such came into my world at the right time during the pandemic last year, when the whole world was in lockdown. I grabbed a magazine on impulse, where an article was published on how someone gets paid to eat lollies. The same could go for munching on those crunchy hash browns. Welcome to ASMR. Simply the world of 'natural sounds' that apparently cause many people (myself included) to relax, tingle, and to enjoy some euphoric bliss. For the geeks and STEM lovers: Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. (And now, sharing my third zen playlist for good measure.)

40 Day Prosperity Plan
Based on the work of John Randolph Price, the 40 Day Prosperity Plan is a series of ten different zen like meditations to engage in, every day for the first ten days of the program, and then you repeat this sequence three more times. There is a caveat to this process. If you skip a day for whatever reason, you have to start again from day one. This is because it takes 40 days for the concepts to sink in and work. In saying that, people (including moi) have achieved results sooner than that.

An Open Letter To The Easter Bunny: From April 2020
Oh dear...would "Happy Easter" be an appropriate word to say to people in these fuzzy, confusing and dark times?! Yes dear reader, you could be reading this letter right now (as at the time of writing this, as of Easter in 2020), or even a year from now...perhaps even 2,5, 20, 50 or even 100 years from now. If you happen to be in the latter camp of readers at the time: let me remind you that we were all having to self-isolate and #stayathome due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic...way beyond our normal. Easter 2020 is/was a forced dark period on every single human alive...even a forced period of an unplanned vacation, depending on your point of view.

8 Worthy Home Based Activities To Do During The Coronavirus/In Self Isolation
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has forced many of us (even essential workers to a degree, on their days off) into a long-term pause, and as the image implies: to be more creative. The world as we know it has changed. There are (no doubt) people who are enjoying this change, while others are sad and anxious - with mental health also taking prominence.

The Positives/Silver Linings Emerging From The Coronavirus
Depending on where you live in the world, many of us have been in quarantine and/or self isolation from the Coronavirus pandemic longer than others. Yet this COVID-19 pandemic is affecting us all. It is normal to live in fear, negativity, stress, anxiety and doom and gloom during these uncertain and unsettling times. Personally, one minute I am feeling awesome and at peace with being stuck (completely isolated) at home, living alone, while the next my body is reacting with unpleasant emotions that I can't fathom at the time. The latter is all part of the process of grief and shock that every single human being is going through right now.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Self Isolation or Quarantine - What To Expect
No doubt about it, March 2020 has been a tumultuous month for all of us (as per the image, you can see it's written all over my face at the moment), with further pain many months down the road. Although we will see a transformed world for the betterment of humanity that survive on the other end on the other side. (You can thank me later if you wish).
