I Heart Working in IT, and in Being a Wordsmith.
Career dreams do come true, despite this change coming to life in the midst of a global pandemic, and one that we are still living in. Sadly. Change is constant, and it is pretty amazing when the odds end up being stacked in your favour in your work. Enjoy your work first, and then the money you earn will usually have more stickability on your side.

Valuable Life Lessons From The Five Feet Apart Movie. Top Story - August 2021.
Social (physical) distancing. Five Feet Apart (technically six feet in real life). What Stella (played by Harley Lu Richardson) and Will (played by Cole Sprouse) had to endure each and every day for their top up treatment in Saint Grace hospital as Cystic Fibrosis patients in this movie, directed by debut sensation Justin Baldoni. That was only the beginning, on top of their strict medication and other regimens in their treatment plans.

C'est La Vie
C'est La Vie. Stuff happens. What happened to setting SMART goals? Nothing wrong with goal setting, yet when your world gets ripped apart by a mystery illness (for example) that has made us self-isolate and quarantine since the new decade (2020) has beckoned on our domain...then what can we do? Go with the flow. That is all we can do. The key is to control what we can control, knowing that we can never control everything. For starters, this is just humanly impossible. We are not here to change the world, but rather to live in it, enjoy it, and to achieve as much as we can. Life sucks sometimes. Life is disappointing sometimes too. Life can also be absolutely awesome.

What The Delta Strain Is Teaching Me In A Long Lockdown
There is no denying that the delta strain of coronavirus seems to be the "gold medallist" in terms of community transmission. As per the subtitle, there is still some good happening here, even though it is rarely appreciated; especially among the most vocal (no pun intended) of those that think this delta strain is a hoax. For starters, this time around, I have learnt that polarity between people is ever so real. Some people think that that wearing face masks is a great idea, while others think that idea is rubbish, and that face masks do not stop the spread of corona.

Why Being Single Is So Frickin Awesome...Unexpectedly
Super mum or not. For me personally, being single rocks right now. In all honesty, I did not expect to be saying this right now. I did not expect to pull the plug on what was a great relationship just over a week ago now. When you find out that your partner is cheating, in both a pandemic and lockdown, while at the same time, forgetting that I was due for my first COVID-19 vaccine two days later; it comes as an emotional and psychological shock. More so when a psychic astrologer tells you that he will be a life long partner, based on your charts being "aligned." Long story short: he returned to his ex. Sure, I was upset, yet I am super thrilled that I am single right now. Let the singles party begin!

What is Going on With The Bachelor Australia
It really makes you stop and think. The American and the UK versions might be a different story, yet the Australian version just seems to be mean and drama filled, even though Osher Gunsberg is the right host. The sister show The Bachelorette is fairing a little bit better, and only just. Many of us like the concept, yet there is Netflix and other TV channels vying for our attention; and if they could all talk, they are saying "pick me, pick me."

An Icy Surprise

Listen To That Green Light
Jemima felt that something was not quite right in her relationship with Jordan. What I Am Grateful For During a COVID-19 Lockdown & Pandemic
Lockdowns suck. All of us appreciate that globally. All of us went though lockdown at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020. Some countries endured year long lockdowns, while others had a mix of long and short. Melbourne, Australia had an unexpectedly long 120 day lockdown in Winter 2020; and now Sydney, Australia is set to follow suit. It is pretty scary now living in a city with 200+ cases of the delta strain of newly inflected people is known on a daily basis, whereas Sydney was free of the virus for quite some time.

A Better Birthday Than Expected In Lockdown
I never ever thought I would say (or think) this on the day I turn 41. A negative COVID-19 test result. Let me explain. I live in a city (Sydney, Australia) with a strict lockdown in place, all on the back of the delta COVID-19 strain getting out of control back in June 2021. All of Sydney (including the Central Coast, South Coast and Blue Mountains) has been in lockdown since the end of June, and lockdown will not be lifted until at least six million residents in New South Wales receive at least the first shot of the vaccine. That means 2.1 million people need to roll up their sleeves and get the first shot, considering that supplies are low; and the city I live in is begging for vaccines from other states in Australia. That is not a Birthday present in itself, even though the above was announced on the news on my Birthday yesterday, as at the time of writing this. I will be receiving the first AstraZeneca shot (finally) on Sunday week, all going well.
