Writing A Love Letter To A Specific Life Problem With My Non-Dominant Hand
It was back in July 2019, a Saturday night that the desire to become a User Experience (UX)/User Interface (UI) Designer came out of the blue. This was no ordinary Saturday night, although the most recent events were a blur; learning how to make a few basic drinks in a bartending course (my desire was to move from corporate to hospitality at the time). Who knew that making a few G&T's from scratch between moi and the trainers stopwatch would be so life changing. Then again, a psychic told me that if I decide not to pursue bartending, that I'll work in IT instead - and that I'll be good at it. #bingo

8 Ways To Look After Your Mental Health While Unemployed or Underemployed
For some, frustrations mount when either unemployed or underemployed. There are some factors within our control like our attitude that make the world of difference in coping in an uncertain world. How reliable and hard working you are can also help your situation; yet it sometimes feels like a stroke of bad luck - being in the wrong place at the wrong time that puts you on a chopping block for an unexpected lay off, or a cut in hours. 12 Months of Inner Work with Angela Hryniuk - My Spiritual Teacher
My childhood was traumatic, and I would not even wish this trauma on my own worst enemy (if I had one). Without going too deep into the specifics, my father left me the moment I was born (he was involved in an extra-marital affair. That's how I came into the world via a c-section), and my mother was diagnosed with virtually every illness imaginable. This is no exaggeration, where I had a foster family looking after me one weekend a month from age 9, in which they fostered me on a permanent basis when my mother passed away when I was only 13 years of age. In Angela Hryniuk's Ultimate Prosperity Intensive program; you learn about the six stages of childhood development as it relates to money and your life experiences to date. Due to my tough upbringing (with illnesses of my own, while growing up in a poor family in housing commission homes); I was wounded in all six stages of childhood development. School was torture as well - naturally. I was suicidal. After 12 months of deep inner work with my spiritual teacher, Angela Hryniuk - I have transformed, and have moved mountains in every area of my life; from my finances to my relationships. Angela knows how to serve, and to give immense value, care and love to her students/program participants.

4 Proven Ways To Make New Friends As An Adult
The Beatles are onto a winner with the following phrase: "I get by with a little help from my friends." Yes you do. I am not going to sugarcoat it. Making new friends in adulthood is f***ing hard. Especially when working 60 hours a week (for many, post uni) is the norm. Let alone trying to save our most intimate, romantic relationships from collapsing.

10 Life Lessons From The Wolf Of Wall Street
Further note on the image: I was having difficulties uploading an image of The Wolf of Wall Street, so the one chosen must do. Martin Scorsese definitely played his cards right by investing in the film called The Wolf of Wall Street - a highly obscene sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle in the securities industry back in the 80's (the good old days for many. Millennial moi was born too late). Materialism, drugs, sex, alcohol and money ruled the roost. A life of excess, greed, glitz and glamour prevailed over true customer service.

5 Reasons To Walk Barefoot More Often
Chances are, you're either a nature or a beach lover. What is there to not love about being connected to 'mother earth' where our source is. In the cavemen era, humans (once we evolved to such) walked and ran barefoot. We need to wear shoes, sandals and thongs for a multitude of reasons; yet there are many profound benefits to earthing (that is, moving around barefoot on the grass or the sand) that make this exercise worthy of an inclusion in the weekly diary. Like yours truly, you may begin to want to earth your feet in nature more often.
